It took me a while to start this article, but I am going to try my best to explain what is processing in my head. Just like when you plant a seed (of any kind), it takes a while to blossom. You have to water it, nurture it, and then when it reaches its full maturation process, it's strong and plentiful.

When I think about the young ladies int he 2025 class that are some new additions to the 2025 rankings, I look at them as that seed that has blossomed. They started in an incubator state and then rose to the top, being solid contributors to their programs. Not only did they contribute, but they also were leading catalysts in different categories. They were what their team needed and someone whom the coach trusted to get the job done. No matter what it was, they were consistently there and someone who would put their head down and go to work.

Big O was tough and had a tremendous year. Talk about a maturation process, this young lady bloomed into a solid piece for the Lady Eagle program. She commanded the painted area on both ends of the floor. Offensively, she was solid around the blocks, displaying nice footwork and was always in position to score the basketball and get put backs. Defensively, she was big-time on the boards, blocked shots, and just locked down the interior. She was a solid addition to the Lady Eagles program and what they needed to have a great season.

This young lady was solid, and she was always in the right spot at the right time. She may not have been the main focal point for the Lady Knights; however, she starred in her role and did it well. When her team needed a bucket, she came in clutch. Need someone stopped? She did that. She was the unsung hero who did the little things. More or less the glue girl who was willing and able to get the job done. She had a solid career, and her impact will definitely be missed next season.

Her team had a magical run this year and she contributed to it big time. Her efforts went unnoticed as she was always in the mix when she was on the floor. Defensively, she was solid, getting steals, rebounds, and running lanes in transition. When it came to the offensive end, she was golden from the arc. Unleashing a deadly stroke that saw the ball scorch the bottom of the net. During the postseason, you could see her confidence just build up as she kept rising to the occasion. Her play was masterful and she was named to the All-State Tournament Team. A solid kid who has a phenomenal senior season.

A Dual sport athlete who was a hustler. This kid got after it, and she competed on both ends of the floor. A downhill threat who could slice to the rim but would also step out and shoot the 3 ball. She got low and in a stance on D, causing havoc for opponents. She had a great senior season that saw her club reach new heights. She played with great energy and effort, and her style of play went unnoticed. Solid kid who was a tremendous asset to her ball club.
