Over the past few years, multiple schools have produced prospects who have gone on to do some miraculous things. From making deep tournament runs to winning championships, this area has seen an upswing in the sport.   Starting with the ‘27 class, these next years will see some talented individuals sweep through the 931 area. Not only are these young ladies game changers, but they are also impactful players who have or will draw the interest of collegiate coaches. Displaying various talents, these difference makers will not only showcase the city, but go on to shine on the national stage at the collegiate level. With some already establishing themselves as prospects, there will be a new wave of kids who will jump on collegiate radars in the coming years.   This area is slowly growing as more and more people call this area home. From shifty guards to dominant post players, you will be able to find some contributors amongst the talent in this area. Over the next two articles, we will talk about the talent within this area and hopefully shine some light on some prospects that are becoming big-time student-athletes within their community.      The Vanderbilt commit is a unicorn in herself. One that was never pigeonholed in a position based on her size, she can do all things for a ball club. Towering over individuals, she has a smooth inside-and-out game that leads a dominant attack at Clarksville Christian. This kid has transformed herself into an elite prospect that can score on all three levels. Not only is she a scoring threat that can create and handle the ball, but she is a top-notch defender that knows how to utilize her body. Vanderbilt is getting a pillar that will be a difference-maker in their program. One that will help uplift the VU program and push them over the edge. Until then, you better believe her and her Clarksville Christian teammates will be looking to make another run at a championship.     A top-tier recruit who dominates the painted area. She has transformed herself from a little-known prospect when she started into a hot commodity. She has added muscle to her frame, become very versatile in her actions, and added to her game where she can stretch the floor and create off the bounce. This young lady is one not to play with, as she is going to go at you on both ends. She establishes her presence early on the floor and goes hard on both ends. From scoring the ball to owning the glass, this young lady uses her length to create an advantage in all things she does. Big-time schools have clamored for her commitment; it will be interesting to see where she goes. Whoever gets this young lady will be getting a hard-working individual that will come in and compete right away.     Athletic guard that is always in attack mode. This kid gets after it like it's nobody's business. A downhill threat that is hard to slow down; her athleticism and her physicality have raised awareness amongst collegiate coaches. A versatile kid who is a glass eater. She's aggressive and uses it to her advantage. A solid defender who is going to create chaos the full length of the floor. Look for her to continue to grow and attract the eyes of coaches at the next level.     A heady floor general who will bring her talent across town from CA to Clarksville. Wearing purple and gold, Layla will be stability to the PG position. A kid who is an efficient playmaker, she can create off the bounce using her speed to get to favorable spots. A selfless leader, she knows when to go or just run the show. She understands the game and knows where the weak spots are in a defense. From ball handling to finishing through contact, her offensive game has risen over the years. Defensively, she is as solid as they come. Picks up fulls and turns her opponent left and right. Her activity brings chaos, which leads to transition buckets going the other way. Clarksville is getting a steal in a kid, and college coaches are taking notice of this special talent moving through the Clarksville area.     Long and rangy low post player who can stretch the floor. A hard-working individual who has added to her game. A kid who can use her size to power through opponents on the low block, but also utilize her speed as she catches the ball on the perimeter and goes straight towards the rim. She's expanded her game, adding a 3-ball and a nice middy to her arsenal. I love her ability to defend by holding her ground and making it tough for opponents to score. When she is long, it's hard for anyone to get a clean look. Not a finished product, this kid continues to evolve and establish herself as a prospect hailing from the 931 area. Look for her to compete this upcoming season and become a solid prospect for coaches at the next level.     An up-and-coming prospect that has speed and versatility to her game. Known for her defense, this kid knows when to strike and create a turnover. Her offensive game is on the upswing. She's an aggressive downhill threat that can blow by her defender and finish at the rim. She's nice from the arc, where she splashes the 3 ball, finishing high for all to see. When the lights come on, she gets after it, stepping up and challenging anyone in her way. This talented kid is still growing and one that you will need to keep tabs on. Look for her to be the focal point at CA for the coming years.     Active combo guard who can score the rock from all three levels. She has grown over the years and added to her game in so many ways. A sharpshooter from 3, she is also able to create off the bounce and get into her mid-range pull-up with ease. Though her offensive game has grown, she too has grown on the defensive side. Displaying quick feet and active hands, she is on her opponent, making it hard for them to operate. She has amazing court vision and is a solid two-way player. Maliyah is a selfless teammate who is willing to do whatever it takes to win. Look for her to continue to grow, put in the work, and help her CCS team compete for another championship.     An up-and-coming guard who is solid on both ends of the floor. A kid who can score from multiple spots on the floor, but also contribute in many facets of the game. She plays with speed and power, a versatile kid who can do work in the paint and along the perimeter. A heady ballplayer who has a knack for being around the ball. Anticipates well, always in position to get both steals and rebounds. Look for her to continue to grow and make a name for herself coming from the 931 area.     A shifty two-way player who can score from all three levels. From knocking down 3s to utilizing her speed and attacking off the bounce, she is the first scoring option for her club as they get after it. A solid defender who gets her hands on the ball, her steals lead to easy buckets going the other way. A tough competitor who is willing to accept any challenge, she is going to give it her all every time she steps onto the floor. Keep tabs on this special 931 talent.
