She can also create separation with a series of jab steps, stepbacks, etc. In-the-gym range!! <strong>Kamilla</strong> was very consistent for a freshman (16 games with 20+ points). She has ideal length and an ability to break a defense down. This is a deadly combination for the sharpshooting lefty. <strong>Kamilla</strong> has the size and basketball IQ to run an offense and see over smaller guards. Not only did she put up numbers, she played some of the best comp in the state. The Mission League includes teams like Sierra Canyon, Harvard-Westlake, and Chaminade. <strong>Hamiley</strong> carried Notre Dame at times despite her youth. I marvel at her consistency to drop 20+ game-in, game-out. Most freshman are hot and cold no matter how gifted they are. <strong>Hamiley's</strong> season high of 40 points required only 1 3PM. This high-scoring prolific guard dominated as a freshman for the 21-9 Corona Panthers. <strong>Alex</strong> had fifteen games of 20+ points, including her season-high 32pts (6 3PMs). She has range well beyond the 3pt line. <strong>Alex</strong> averaged nearly 20 a game, but her production in other areas stood out as well. Solid playmaker who has a nose for the ball defensively. She was a menace to begin the year. 6 steals in the very first game of her prep career, followed by 5, 5, and 8 steals in the next three games. She can score in a variety of ways. Her versatility defensively sets her apart. She already has the size and mindset to lock down bigger forwards. Rancho Christian's top 10 CA ranking makes it even more impressive that <strong>Naomi</strong> was able to get minutes so early at the varsity level. <strong>Naomi</strong> went an efficient 4/6 from the field in a high stakes state playoff game to end her season. You can tell she belongs in even the biggest of games. <strong>Naomi</strong> plays within herself but understands how to be a difference maker.
