One of the most highly anticipated tournaments is coming up and many are making their plans to head down to PA this weekend. Amongst the large crowds of girls is one of RI's major programs. They house some of the state's local talent. The program has become one of the premier ones and they provide a space for players to develop while also focusing on the comradery of their girls. Their teams play well together, showing a true continuity as well as having strong coaches that come up with well-crafted attack plans catering to their strengths. Some of the teams have been playing together for a while now and others have newer faces that they've added recently. With most of the teams headed to Spooky Nook this weekend, below are some players that'll have close eyes on them. There could've been a slew of girls named, but here are 5 BCRI girls to know ahead of the PA trip.

A creative guard that gets great looks at the hoop. She's a good finisher as well, especially with defense in her face. Delaney doesn't seem bothered by pressure and she happens to also be a pestering defender herself. Her length on the defensive end leads to a lot of broken passes which get her out on the break for some easy points. The Narragansett guard is certainly an attention grabber.

Kyla has the capability to light it up from where on the floor. It doesn't take much to get her in the flow and what's most impressive is that she can create her own looks off the dribble or find a quality look as the ball swings within the offensive motions. Buco can put it on the floor some too which just gives her even more options as defenders are hesitant to let her bomb from beyond the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='1060405' first='Lauren' last='Gill'] (2028) | 5'7 Guard | BCRI

In these intense games, it's important to have players willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done and this is exactly the type of player Gill is. She'll sacrifice her body, take the backseat role and hustle to the 50/50 balls. With those considerable traits, Lauren can help get a team over the hump in those tight slugfests. Lauren will do the little things on the floor that many might not notice, but her coaches understand how valuable that can be in the anticipated matchups. The defensive minded guard plays with great vigor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1237358' first='Brea' last='Lima'] (2027) | 5'9 SG | BCRI

The West Warwick guard led her team in a bunch of categories through the season in impactful games. Lima comes through with timely shots as well as stout defense. Not just an on-ball defender though, her physicality allows her to dig down low when post entries are made and she even hustles to get the tips or blocks as she swarms in from the help side. Brea' all-around game will be useful this weekend.

Lily Chamberland (2028) | 5'11 Forward | BCRI

Even though the 15u may be considered a bit small, Lily's versatile contributions at her size will address the issue. She can play at least 3 different positions and that will come in handy through the different lineups the team will throw out there to give the opponents contrasting looks. Lily will be able to hold her own against multiple positions. She moves her feet well and with BCRI prioritizing their defensive rotations, Lily will be able to get in and out of the lane to affect the opposing team's gameplan. Chamberlain has also shown to be a solid option to kick out to on the perimeter plus she can be successful with some paint touches.
