Live at The Hive : Young Guns Edition

While the 13U Division was the smallest Division at The Battle of The Big Friendly (5 teams), there were some teams playing up in the hyper competitive 14U Division. Has the defense in recovery mode as soon as she is in the game. Very scrappy, makes a ton of hustle plays. Can attack the left side of the court very well. Nice looking shot from the top of the key. One of the better on-ball defenders I saw all weekend. Contantly turning the girl with the ball. She is a problem at the top of a zone press, long limbs and anticipates well. Nice looking 3 point shot, going to be a matchup problem at all times. Unity 13U was dominant in their division, finishing the week with a +60 scoring differential in their 4 games. The 6'1'' sixth grader plays like a good Freshman. Was really impressed with her patience. Obviously she draws a ton of double teams, and was able to find cutters and open shooters. Saw some really good post moves going to the inside. Plays off of Moore very well. If these two are able to team up at the high school level it could be special. Despite being a 12U team, [program_tooltip program_id='712433' first='BTR' last=''] was very competitive in the 14U division. Made some huge clutch shots. Definitely a "gamer", one of the better point guard prospects I saw over the weekend.
