[player_tooltip player_id='875100' first='Kazaria' last='Smith'] has had an impressive 12 months leading us to this point. Smith, a 5'6 CG, has shown everyone watching this past season that she is a next level player with her production. She is a talented offensive weapon while attacking off the dribble and she doesn't let one bad play or situation impact her entire demeanor. All of this was on display this past weekend for AR Elite's 17U team. Offensively, Smith got to the bucket off the dribble, she finished with touch at the rim and in the mid-range, and she even stepped out and cashed in some jumpers from behind the three point line when the defense sagged off. Defensively, she recorded a bunch of tips/deflections and that led to opportunities in transition a good majority of the time. This AR team has some hoopers and Smith happens to be the most polished.

Coming off of an injury is never a simple ask. You don't want to try and do too much, too soon but you still want to stay consistent in your recovery. Someone who has seemingly returned without a hitch, metaphorically and literally, is Londyn Hollins of Midwest Elite Meanstreets EYBL. Hollins is a smooth operator at the guard position. This weekend she was handling the rock with ease, creating opportunities for herself and others at a consistent rate, as she also demonstrated how to lead by example in all facets of the game. This is a young prospect with a very mature attitude and play-style. She is never the one to be rushed and she always seems to control the situation around her. An ability we don't see out of many at this age.

Bull dog. Hard nosed. Beyond determined. These are a few phrases to describe the type of play that [player_tooltip player_id='861140' first='Addison' last='Leonard'] brings to the hardwood. Leonard, a 5'9 PG, can handle it and run the offense. She can move off the ball and produce with great movement as a cutter or screener. Not to mention, she isn't the type to take credit. She would rather get onto the next play and keep it moving after she makes something happen. When you have a selfless producer, who won't take no for a reason on the floor, you get someone who could produce at multiple levels. She just needs to stay motivated and Leonard could have a bright future moving forward.

[player_tooltip player_id='1225856' first='Hailey' last=''] Kipp is the tallest listed prospect on her [program_tooltip program_id='715980' first='Team' last='Iowa'] 17U team and she did a respectable job of controlling the paint this weekend. Kipp was talking on screens, jumping to the ball, and making an impact on both sides of things with her passion. This team likes to run a lot of 4 out, 1 in motion or even just 5 out. In both cases, Kipp does well moving around, being versatile at the same time or at least she did a good job of that these past few days. With a guard heavy team, Kipp will be their standout in the lane for this AAU Spring/Summer season and I'm sure she is going to make some noise with how well she continues to perform down the line.

[player_tooltip player_id='1220535' first='Jayla' last='Tyler'] did a good job this weekend at stepping up in the big moments. On more than one occasion, Tyler took matters into her own hands and made things happens. She showed off her impressive lefty shooting stroke off the catch and dribble, she got to the bucket for tough finishes after a nifty pick up, she understood when to push vs when she should slow things down to seal a W, and she was always one of the first on the floor for a loose ball on her team - just speaking to her effort level. At the end of the day, Tyler played the right way this weekend and that seems to be a reoccurring theme with a lot of the prospects out of this AR Elite AAU program.
