<p class="text-gray-700">Stayton sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='839071' first='Kathryn' last='Samek'] protects the paint, is an efficient scorer inside, and can hit from three. The 6-foot-1 forward was the top shot blocker at the 4A state tournament and was named to the 4A All-State First Team. Samek can drive strong and finish with a soft touch in the paint. She is an excellent on-ball defender, stays with her mark, and contests the shot. Samek averaged 15 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game, helped the Eagles win the Oregon West Conference title, and earned an All-Conference First Team selection her sophomore year. The conference champion averaged 16.3 points (shooting 47%), 3.7 blocks, 2.7 steals, and 2 assists per game at the 4A state tournament, aided her team in winning the state championship title, and earned an All-Tournament First Team spot. The state champion jumped to No. 8 in the Prep Girls Hoops Oregon class of 2027 rankings.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Banks sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='837703' first='Nylah' last='Vanthom'] is a two-way hooper with high IQ on defense and shifty drives on offense. She was named to the 3A All-State First Team. The 5-foot-5 guard has a nice crossover and between to move laterally and get downhill to finish at the rim or draw the foul. She led all players in free throw attempts at the 3A state tournament, finishing 22 on 81% shooting. Vanthom is locked in on defense with excellent on-ball pressure and off-ball positioning. She averaged 8.6 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.5 rebounds per game, helped the Braves win the Coastal Range League title, and was named to the All-League First Team and Defensive Player of the Year in her sophomore season. The league champion averaged 15.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2 assists, and 1.7 steals per game at the 3A state tournament to lead her team to Second Place and earn herself a unanimous All-Tournament First Team selection. Vanthom jumped to No. 9 in the Prep Girls Hoops Oregon class of 2027 rankings.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Stayton sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='926278' first='Breeci' last='Hampton'] pushes the pace, hits from three, and was named to the 4A All-State Second Team. The 5-foot-6 guard was the top three-point scorer at the 2025 4A state tournament, hitting 11 threes in three games at a 46% clip. Hampton can beat her defender and find the pass that leads to a bucket. She averaged 9.7 points, 3.8 assists, 3 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game, helped the Eagles win the Oregon West Conference title, and earned an All-Conference First Team selection her sophomore season. The conference champion averaged 14.3 points per game (shooting 42% from the field) at the 4A state tournament, guided her team to win a state championship title, and earned a unanimous All-Tournament First Team honor. The state champion jumped to No. 14 in the Prep Girls Hoops Oregon class of 2027 rankings.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Springfield sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='925988' first='Sailor' last='Hall'] goes off from three-point range, crashes the boards, and is a plus rebounder. The 5-foot-9 shooting guard was the top 3-point scorer at the 5A state tournament and was named to the 5A All-State Honorable Mention list. Hall averaged 16 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 2.2 steals per game and was named to the Midwestern League First Team her sophomore year. She averaged 16.3 points (shooting 41% from three) and earned an All-Tournament Second Team honor at the 5A state tournament. Hall jumped to No. 18 in the Prep Girls Hoops Oregon class of 2027 rankings.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Silverton sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='839068' first='Marley' last='Wertz'] is a spunky hooper who attacks the lane, finishes strong at the rim, and crashes the boards. The 5-foot-10 guard runs the court, has a quick first step, and is a tenacious on-ball defender. Wertz received an Honorable Mention in the Mid-Willamette, the most competitive 5A conference in Oregon. She led the Lady Foxes in scoring in the 5A state tournament consolation game to help her team win Third Place and earn herself Player of the Game. Wertz jumped to No. 26 in the Prep Girls Hoops Oregon class of 2027 rankings.</p>
