The May Live Period begins this Friday. In the second live period of the year, teams from Wisconsin will play in Alabama, Minnesota, Iowa, and maybe elsewhere too. Throughout the week, we'll highlight some kids for coaches to watch around the country during the second live period of the AAU season. Today, we'll start with some 2026s.

6'3 kids with size, touch, and a motor don't grow on trees. Chilicki has the size to handle playing as a five at the next level, and she's physical enough to battle with kids with older kids. She likes the physicality and is competitive enough to match kids who want to play around the basket. Chilicki also has some touch that would help her on the offensive end of the floor. Most post players don't reach their potential until they get to the next level, and Chilicki has plenty of room to grow, but you can't teach her physical traits.

The Elkhorn forward is a skilled kid who can excel playing from the high post. Lile can pass well from the post and hit cutters from any direction, knock down shots from the mid-range area or perimeter, and attack slower players off the dribble and get to the basket. If she ends up at a place that wants to use their forwards as a fulcrum of an offense, Lile will have an excellent career at the next level. If you put her in a box, you lose the best traits that she brings to the floor.

The 5'11 Notre Dame is an intriguing kid because she's filled multiple roles at each place she's played. Abel has shown she can play as a creator and create her shot off the dribbler. She can cut and get easy finishes at the rim and play with her back to the basket if needed. Abel is as versatile as any kid you'll find in her class. She'll continue to generate scholarship interest at the next level and be worth watching with [program_tooltip program_id='1230720' first='Team' last='Herro'] at their EYCL stop.

I've been high on the 6'0 St. Thomas More forward since the start of the high school season. She's a late riser in a loaded 2026 class, so she may not have the name recognition that others in her class have. However, she may be the most polished offensive post in her class. Bultman plays hard on both ends of the floor and has excelled each time I've seen her play this AAU season with Playground Elite. She runs the floor, finishes around the basket, rebounds, and can space the floor.
