Big City Hoops Memorial Day Bash Standouts

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Big City Hoops Memorial Day Bash was held on Saturday May 24th, and featured some of the up and coming teams in Southern Arizona as well as some teams from Central Arizona. She was 1st Team All-Region 5A South. She is an excellent all around talent that can shoot, handle the ball, play defense, and she is not intimidated by pressure situations. Lexi is a Shooting Guard that is a good shooter from mid-range, and she has shown the ability to drive to the basket and finish. She was the 1A East Region Offensive Player of the Year as a sophomore. She can score from all 3 levels, but showed an impressive ability to score in the Post in traffic. She is a very versatile defensive player that can guard multiple positions. She started her Freshman season for Pueblo, a Final Four team, and is continuing to get better and better. She will eventually fall into the full-time point guard role for Pueblo, as she has excellent ball handling skills and is terrific in press situations both offensively and defensively. She is a multi-sport athlete that is just now coming into her own as a basketball player. She has terrific agility and speed. She is a lock down defender that is physical and aggressive. Offensively she is very underrated, as she has shown excellent ability to score from mid-range, and off the fast break.
