The Champions Challenge will tip off tomorrow night. We will have some talented kids in the gym, some of whom are the elite kids in Wisconsin. Today, we'll look at some players D2 programs should look at if they have time, then end the day with kids the regional schools should see.

The Manitowoc Lincoln guard is fun to watch for a few reasons. One is that she plays like her hair is on fire and flies around the floor. The second reason is I love how aggressive she is with the ball in her hands. Bolchen wants to get downhill and attack the basket to get shots at the rim or kick it out to her teammates. She's a solid all-around lead guard with plenty to work on, but she'll have a home at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='766619' first='Joy' last='Krull']

Krull is a jack-of-all-trades. Sometimes, I wish she was more aggressive on the offensive end of the floor. However, she is the glue kid on the floor everywhere she plays. Krull wants to move the ball, defend on the perimeter, and create the best shot her team can each possession. I don't think I've ever seen her try to force anything, which means she cares about being the best teammate she can be, and I can't be mad at that. There will be a coach somewhere who will love her game.

[player_tooltip player_id='813295' first='Jenna' last='Ott']

The Appleton East wing will be a productive role player at the next level because we've seen what she can be as a spot shooter and perimeter defender these last few seasons. Ott has been a reliable shooter for the Patriots these past few years and has been a trusted member of the Patriots' defense. I like what Ott brings to the floor because she understands what she can do and what she does well, which is something most high school kids don't have. She'll fit like a glove somewhere at the next level. The Appleton native will play in a competitive program.

[player_tooltip player_id='842229' first='Ella' last='Verbeten']

The Wrightson native has improved each season as a Tiger. She's always been a productive defensive player in the NEC and has continued to be that for the Tigers in her first three seasons. However, her development on the offensive end of the floor is what excited me about her in her junior season. Verbeten has become a reliable offensive weapon and more than a kid who takes a bunch of shots because she has to shoot. Verbeten is an efficient offensive threat who can do some damage.
