With the AAU season going and the high school summer league coming up next month, there will be many new names to know and keep an eye on. Here are some players who I am keeping an eye on.

Grace is a quick guard who has solid length for her position. Her quick crossover is very impressive as she is quick enough to shake defenders off their toes and she can drive right by them to get a bucket. She absorbs contact well in the paint too, being able to get the finish through contact. She is a player coaches need to start watching now, she is only going to get better.

Aleya is a soon to be freshman and is going to be one of the top players in the class. She does it all on the court but especially has a lights out shot from deep. She sets her feet quickly and lets it fly before defenders can close out. She can attack down-hill well too, being able to use either hand in finishing through the paint.

Deets is one of my favorite players to watch on the court. She plays the game at her pace, meticulously picking apart the defense in different ways. She is quick on the court, sprinting the lanes and getting easy buckets in transition smoothly. She is a high level point guard who likes to find her open teammates but can also take charge and get buckets with ease.

Azy does it all on the court and it is exciting to watch. She can bring the ball down the court and facilitate the offense nicely or even play in the paint and seal defenders to get easy buckets down low with her strength. She sets great screens, being able to roll or pop to hit jumpers. She protects the paint well on the defensive side too, bringing energy for her team and being able to be a fantastic team leader.
