She has great vision and all the skills you want out of a young guard.     Taniyah Ford can affect the game in a lot of ways from a lot of different positions. Taniyah knocks down threes and is a good defender. Taniyah isn't afraid to mix it up inside, and her mix of length and strength makes up for her not being as tall as some other bigs. She is the type of player coaches love to have.     [player_tooltip player_id='1198560' first='Kearson' last='Carter'] is another small guard on this [program_tooltip program_id='824320' first='VA' last='Impact'] team to watch. Kearson does a great job finishing at the rim, and her handle and speed help her get there consistently. Kearson is a reliable three-point shooter as well. Kearson was outstanding for Radford this year in her Sophomore season. She plays in an area that doesn't get much attention, but she is a great player.      Mallorie Waldron is a player whose skillset I really like. She is the third player on this team that can play point guard, and like the two players listed before her, she is a very complete player. Mallorie is a great passer and a crafty driver. She knocks down threes and does well on the defensive end.      I like what Madey Phipps can do as a two-guard. She is a good spot-up shooter and does a decent job when teams run her off the line. She is a pretty good defender and has solid size to play the two.      [player_tooltip player_id='1266382' first='Valerie' last='Swanson'] has great length for a wing. She is an active defender who uses her defense to get easy buckets on the break.     Kyleigh Utt is a strong post player who you can throw the ball down to in the post for a bucket. She does a good job using her physicality and is a good rebounder. She has a decently refined post-game and has good footwork.     [player_tooltip player_id='755833' first='Laurel' last='Hall'] has the length you look for in a Forward, but she also moves really well. I think her biggest impact defensively will be what she can do as a rotator or helper. Her length and instincts allow her to get her hands on passes and shots. She has a jump shot that is coming along. She does a good job scoring in the paint, and she rebounds well.      Bryanna Barksdale is an athletic two-guard who can really defend. She does a good job forcing turnovers and is a reliable spot-up shooter.
