[program_tooltip program_id='715954' first='Team' last='Griggs'] has a couple of teams that are worth watching, and I've been able to see them at a few events so far this spring. One team that has been really intriguing has been this group of 2029s. Here are some notes from watching them play.

Aubrey Cranford seemed to be grabbing steals and scoring on solo fast breaks throughout her games. She took defensive rebounds coast to coast, too, making sure she was making plays on both ends. She did well relocating after the pass on set offensive plays knowing how to be an asset for her team. She used her shot fakes to get the open look at the rim, and she hustled up the court being smart with her ball placement knowing how to make the dish to her teammates or make the shot herself.

Ella Kollman was tough on the block battling against anyone for rebounds, and she did well using her strength to get to the basket off the dribble. She was patient letting her defenders get comfortable in time to blow by them after her jab step move finishing at the rim. She could score on multiple levels, too.

Sara Simko slid around the perimeter finding the opening and staying ready to put up her shot. She ran the floor well hustling up the court in transition being ready to score off the pass. She handled the ball well, too, bringing it up the court herself knowing how to get a play going.

Sidney Harris had some tough takes to the basket going through contact and creating her own opening to finish at the rim. She knew how to anticipate what her opponents were doing jumping in front of passing lanes to grab the steal. She hit a big three pointer late in a game to continue to add to the lead putting the game away for her team. She followed shots on both ends of the court being able to put back up shots on the offensive glass. She battled against anyone she was assigned to guard even handling post players well on the block making sure they don't have easy shots.
