When it comes to value, oftentimes, to the naked eye we tend to overlook things. Last article, I talked about under the radar prospects, however within the framework of this particular article, I would like to talk about some hidden gems we have here in Tennessee. For starters, we have a lot of them. Girls who bring a solid body of work into the fold. They may not be high point scorers, but kids who can impact the game in various ways. It may be their defense, the way they share the basketball, there ability to find open space to exploit. Whatever the case may be, we have solid prospects in this state that could be true assets to collegiate programs on various levels. You can disagree or agree with me on that statement, that's just what I feel.

Technically she has arrived, but her game keeps climbing more and more. She has been the district MVP in her division consecutive years. She is a kid who gets after it on both ends of the floor, with a specialty of putting the basketball through the hoop from various spots on the floor. Her ability to be adaptable makes it tough to contain her. Her reading and reaction skills are scary, as to team can't bottle her up. You zone them, she shoots you out of the zone. You man them, she can take you to the hole. You have to throw multiple defenders at her just to slow her down. She is a heady ball player who will always find a way to impact the game. Tough kid who is a true problem to deal with.

Her game continues to grow. I love her ability to play off the bounce and get to the rim. She will pull up from multiple spots on the floor, but utilizing her speed and quickness to get down hill makes her a tough opponent to contain. She is a solid defender who gets her hands on the ball. She can pickpocket a PG, if she is playing off ball, she can read and shoot the gap to get a steal. Her athletic ability allows her the freedom to exploit a lot of weaknesses in an opponent. Look for her to kick it up a notch as she is playing with a ton of confidence. This kid is nice and watch as she continues to grow into a true solid prospect that will help uplift this Lady Burros squad to new heights.

Her game has evolved over time, especially on the offensive side. Defensively, she can guard wings as well as bigs. She blocks shots, contributes significantly ont he boards, and is solid in transition by either running the lanes or bringing the ball up the floor. Back to the offensive end, this is where her game has grown. She use to be that low block player who would work block to block, the high post, and short corners. Now, she can knock down the 3 at a consistent clip, play off the dribble in order to get into a stop and pop motion, and finish at the rim with ease, getting high over the top of a defender. This kid is solid and as her confidence continues to rise, look for her game to follow as she poses as a significant threat to all those who face her. Big-time athlete when it's all said and done.

A true fan of this kid who is an absolute workhorse. Suffered a injury toward the end of the season, but will bounce back because that is the kind of person she is. She is a tough kid who plays her role well. She was big on the boards on both ends of the floor, but her ability to create opportunities away from the ball and then go exploit an area was great. She could set a pick on the back side and then pop to the open area to receive a pass. Her defensive ability was solid as she would bang with the best of them. Look for her to rebound and pick back right where she left off. A old-school hooper who just played the game with relentless energy and passion.
