Tuesday, we released the Summer update for the Class of 2026 rankings. Circling back around, below is a quick look at the power forwards who were included in either the Top 100 or the 125-player watch list. Below that are any newcomers to the position group when we updated the list this time around.

.

NEWCOMERS

Bella is a strong, physical, and productive forward/post who is always a threat to put up double-doubles. She does a really nice job of positioning herself for rebounds at both ends of the floor, anticipating shot attempts and earning inside position against her opponent. Offensively, she is an opportunistic scorer who gets easy buckets off teammates, but she has started to shoot it better from the mid-post and could possibly become a 3-point shooter.

Brownsburg has been one of those rare Indiana schools blessed with size, so Lilly has waited her turn to affect the Varsity, and 2025-2026 could be it. She is a solid athlete in most directions, she works hard to get up & down the floor, and she is willing to battle inside and play physically. She has shown a little mid-post skill, and I think that part of her game can really expand. She has typically always been an effortful and effective defender/rebounder.

I am not as familiar with Kaiya, but from what I've seen briefly on film and heard from others, she is double-double machine who plays with a really nice motor. She began her career at Milan High School and averaged a double-double as a Sophomore, then nearly matched that at South Ripley as a Junior. She has some length, she's a solid athlete in most directions, and she can score it in the mid-post or around the basket, plus she gets "scraps" baskets.

I was able to see Eliana for the first time this Spring, and she is a versatile, intriguing forward who can affect a game in a variety of ways. She has a strong, athletic frame, and she moves well in most directions. She is very active in the mid-post, and she's an excellent offensive rebounder who pursues caroms outside of her area. She can also defend a variety of players. If she can add a consistent perimeter jumper, she could be a bigger problem to defend.

Ava is a typical Danville forward who can do a little of everything, but who always plays with a good motor and will defend. She has length, a wiry-strong frame that has gained noticeable strength, and she is physical inside and will rebound aggressively. She has a nice mid-post game where she can knock down the 15-footer or put it on the floor and attack the basket. Ava is also a nice system defender who understands rotations and "help".
