The Spring has arrived, and it's time for us to update the prospect rankings in all four graduating classes currently enrolled in high school. For the Class of 2026, it means this is the last time they will be ranked throughout their careers, and the overall list (rankings & watch list included) has expanded from 275 total prospects to 300 total prospects. With that said, below is one additional look at all of the talented combo guards the 2026 class has come to produce over the last four seasons. Below the rankings chart are some quick updates on a handful of uncommitted prospects (as far as we are aware).

Juliana has been one of the most productive guards in 2026 throughout her career, so I'm a little beyond surprised she has gotten to this point without a commitment. She is definitely capable of helping some of the Midwest's better NAIA and Division II programs, and she can play on or off the ball. She has good speed & quickness, almost a shiftiness to her game, and she is a fill-it-up scorer who can knock down open jumpers or get into the paint and finish in a variety of ways at odd angles. She's also a gritty defender and uses her length well to get steals/deflections.

It has always seemed like Ahniyah has struggled to choose track or basketball. She is an elite athlete, and when I say elite, she can take a 3-step approach jump and touch the rim at 5-6. She's also quick, fast, and explosive on the floor. She committed to D1 St. John's for track but then decided she wanted to play ball. Since reopening her recruiting, she has drawn new interest and taken visits, but in today's environment, it could be ideal for her to go somewhere she can play a lot of minutes immediately, then after showing what she's capable of, essentially transfer "up" to something much bigger.

I saw Shantel when she was younger and felt like she could be one of the better guards in Marion County in the 2026 class. Warren Central is always deep with athletic guards, so it was tough to stand out there, and this season she transferred to Tindley where she averaged 14.9 points, 4.6 assists, and 5.3 steals per contest. She has an athletic frame, length, strength, speed, and quickness at her size. She is a playmaker, and when she's fully engaged, she can take over games and be a highlight reel on the floor. If she ends up in the right college situation, she could really surprise some people.

It was a rocky start to Precious' high school career, dealing with injuries the first couple of years. But over the past 12 to 18 months, with some consistency and the ability to just play a lot of minutes, she has really taken off. She had a solid Spring in 2025, but her July was outstanding. She was starting to take her athleticism and pair it nicely with her skill in order to make plays consistently as a more natural looking point guard. This Winter, she took another step, and she helped lead Cathedral, averaging 14.1 points, 3.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 3.6 steals per game. She could be a "steal" at this point.
