Tuesday, we released the Summer update for the Class of 2027 rankings. Circling back around, below is a quick look at the point guards who were included in either the Top 75 or the 85-player watch list. There were no newcomers to this position group when we updated the list this time around, so below the rankings are a couple of stock-risers who have stood out recently.

Emily has put together a nice Spring and should be a prospect for some of the elite small colleges to watch throughout July. She has length, an athletic frame, and she has gotten noticeably stronger. Her role at Silver Creek has been good but could increase even more following some 2025 graduations. She is solid and decisive with the ball in her hands, she can knock down an open rhythm jumper, plus she can get to the basket and absorb contact.

Too often, pass-first defenders don't get the attention they probably deserve, and that's why I wanted to highlight Korinne here. She is strong and plays compact at her size, but she also possesses length. She can use physicality and quickness both in defending 84-feet, plus she doesn't back down from anyone. Offensively, she can get by most defenders, she has good vision, but she can also make open shots if left alone. She has a lot of next-level value.

I feel like Olivia could be an elite small college "sleeper" in this 2027 class. She is strong, athletic, and she has some length to her frame. She is protective of the ball, she sees the floor well, but she can also act as a multilevel scorer, especially in her high school setting. I just like how she competes, she defends too, and she rebounds her position well. Playing in front of coaches and playing against some of the state's better prospects should really help her.
