<p>The 2027 Rankings were updated this week and there was a lot of movement in the top 100. Here are some point guards who are on the rise. </p>

<p><strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='928137' first='Avery' last='Hansen']</em></strong> - Auburn HS - Lead this Auburn team to a fantastic season last year, being able to grow on the court and claim the league's MVP award. Hansen plays under control on the offensive side, being able to smoothly attack the ball to either finish in the paint or find an open teammate for an easy bucket. She's a quick decision making guard who will excel again next season.</p>

<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='928165' first='Shameela' last='Isabell'] </strong></em>- Sumner HS - She has great speed on the court, with and without the ball, being able to out-pace opponents and get a quick first step when attacking. She continues to improve on making easy passes to her teammates that lead into easy buckets. She can score well too, pushing the pace in transition and getting finishes at the rim. </p>

<p><strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='919772' first='Ashlynn' last='McGinnis']</em></strong> - Eastmont HS - McGinnis is a defensive minded guard who also facilitates the offense to a high level. She pushes the pace well and does a great job at making opposing teams play at her pace. She defends at a high level, moving her feet well and being able to guard multiple positions.</p>

<p><strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='928848' first='Drae' last='Domebo']</em> </strong>- Central Valley HS - She brings energy to the court when she is out there, making big time, momentum shifting, plays on both ends. She leads with defense, forcing turnovers and always doing the little things on the court. </p>

<p><strong><em>[player_tooltip player_id='925661' first='Kalia' last='Washington'] </em></strong>- Kentridge HS - Kalia is a quick guard on the court who THRIVES on the defensive end. She feeds off high-energy making plays and will do anything to get the stop for her team. She dives on loose balls, fights for rebounds, and stays vocal on the defensive end. She is a big time game-changer on the court for Kentridge. </p>

<p><em><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='751229' first='Seneca' last='Lucas']</strong></em> - West Seattle HS - Seneca stands out as a pure point guard on the court. She does a great job at being able to change her pace when handling the ball and also reads the defense quickly, being able to find the open player when running the pick and roll and in transition. </p>
