PGHNJ just released an update to the Class of 2028 rankings, with the surprise drop coming on yesterday [Monday] evening. This revision saw a ton of movement, with the following players making moves as the greatest gainers and most notable stock risers inside the Top 100.

[player_tooltip player_id='914269' first='Carmela' last='Arana'] | Team Miller

Previous Rank: #12 | New Rank: #10

Carmela lands in the Top 10 thanks to a stellar season on the AAU circuit thus far! She's been one of my standouts at nearly every event in April and May, shining particularly bright at the NJ Spring Classic & AC Showcase. With a high motor and electric transition offense, she zips around the court and gets buckets for her team. One of the hottest 3-point shooters I've gotten eyes on this spring, she sure knows how to bury them at a high clip. A quiet worker with a loud, booming game!

[player_tooltip player_id='981911' first='Nola' last='Bright'] | Team Miller

Previous Rank: #42 | New Rank: #19

Skyrocketing 23 spots in the rankings, Nola is in the middle of a breakout season with Team Miller. Stealing the show in Ohio and Atlantic City, her versatility on offense allows her to score consistently inside and out. She possesses elite footwork and makes smart split-second decisions. A total playmaker, really! From what I've seen so far, I think this ascension is just the very beginning of what's to come as the heart of summer approaches.

[player_tooltip player_id='913962' first='Claire' last='Gillespie'] | [program_tooltip program_id='714654' first='NJ' last='Shoreshots']

Previous Rank: #58 | New Rank: #28

Claire has looked really good at both live periods in Spooky and AC. She continues fine-tuning her footwork in the post and the result has been many, many buckets. Big improvements have been made on both sides of the ball and she's added a level of grit to her game that you just can't teach! Her defense has looked stellar, not only anchoring the paint area inside, but also stretching out to apply some ball pressure around the perimeter.

[player_tooltip player_id='972035' first='Isla' last='Fry'] | Jersey Gemz

Previous Rank: #62 | New Rank: #35

With great positional size at around 6'0", Isla is putting in work on the EYBL circuit! She has a nearly automatic mid-range game, splashing it from 15 feet off the catch and delivering off the one-dribble pull up with impressive efficiency. Her physicality sets her apart from a lot of players in this Class and has shown tenacity on the glass, especially pulling down o-boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='913890' first='Damiya' last='Carter'] | BBA

Previous Rank: #56 | New Rank: #37

It's all starting to come together for Damiya. She's made tremendous strides over the past few months, improving her handles, dribble-drive and creating more shots for herself. She also might just be one of the best rebounding guards I've seen this spring, soaring in out of position to pull down huge rebounds over much, much taller players crashing the glass. Her fearlessness has aided in elevating her overall game.

[player_tooltip player_id='914274' first='Avery' last='Wallace'] | NJ Rise

Previous Rank: #93 | New Rank: #48

Confidence is certainly not lacking for Avery. When she goes out there in NJ Rise threads, you can tell who's one of the best players on the floor. That confidence fuels her game and gives her the edge mentally over a lot of opponents. She looks quicker, sharper and more productive in her minutes. Something tells me Avery is just scratching the surface of her potential.

[player_tooltip player_id='1201469' first='Casey' last='McCauley'] | Empire State

Previous Rank: #60 | New Rank: #50

Casey's stout defense is the catalyst behind her rise into the Top 50. She's been a demon on the ball, applying pressure and keeping quick, active hands to smother the opponent and force turnover after turnover. Her physicality and scrappy defending was on full display in Atlantic City, igniting the fast break as she tallied steals. She transitions from defense to offense seamlessly and gets herself going, whether driving to the basket or setting up shop around the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='982734' first='Jiselle' last='Lennon'] | Team Miller

Previous Rank: #99 | New Rank: #72

The work Jiselle has put in with Team Miller is undeniable! First things first: her poise! This girl does NOT crack under pressure. She plays loose and free, which makes her so dangerous out there! She's been locked in since The Tune Up (Philly) back in early April and has not let up! Slashing through the lane, she's been in full-on attack mode getting buckets for her girls.

Other notables:

[player_tooltip player_id='982714' first='Antonia' last='Jackson'] | Jersey Gemz

Previous Rank: #20 | New Rank: #14

One of the most poised hoopers in this Class.

[player_tooltip player_id='1199464' first='Natalija' last='Novkovic'] | United NJ

Previous Rank: #29 | New Rank: #22

A Swiss-Army knife of talent!

[player_tooltip player_id='981942' first='Bri' last='Duque'] | Team Sharp

Previous Rank: #38 | New Rank: #26

A meannnn pull-up game! An absolute BUCKET with punishing dribble penetration.

[player_tooltip player_id='914273' first='Sienna' last='Golizio'] | Team Miller

Previous Rank: #49 | New Rank: #27

Shake-and-bake handles do damage getting to the cup.
