Emma is a standout guard for The [program_tooltip program_id='994631' first='Southwest' last='Sting']. She plays with confidence and leads her team with dynamic play on both ends. A combo point and shooting guard, she has the handles for both. She can handle the ball through traffic to find her teammates and to get her own buckets. Rivera can score from all three levels. She can hit from long range, stop for 2 point jumpers and get all the way to the basket for tough points in the paint. On defense, she is aggressive and vocal for her team. She's picking up in the full court to give dribbles a hard time. She is great in help side and getting steals in the passing lanes. Look for Rivera and the [program_tooltip program_id='994631' first='Southwest' last='Sting'] to go crazy in July.

This guard is exciting to watch on both ends of the floor. She is fundamental with the ball in her hands on offense. As a combo guard, she is always looking for her teammates first. She makes excellent passes to running post players and finds scorers in the halfcourt. Jerzi can also score, she is quick to the basket and has no fear in the paint. She can hit from 2pt and 3pt range consistently, making her an asset from all three levels. On defense she makes life hard for ball handlers and gets exciting steals in the passing lanes. Mcarthur does the little things for [program_tooltip program_id='712413' first='BC' last='Denver'], making her a key guard for the rest of their summer.

Zania is a consistent and strong guard for [program_tooltip program_id='1219376' first='Tru' last='Colorado']. She fits very well in the PG/SG position and that all starts on the defensive end. She seems to be everywhere on the court. Getting steals from dribblers in full court pressure. She's in the passing lanes in the half court, and even getting a couple defensive boards in the paint. She brings all of that energy to offensive where she is pushing the ball past the defense for coast to coast layups plus finding her teammates down the court and in their scoring spots within the offense. She can get her own points too. She is great getting to the basket and she can also hit buckets from 2pt and 3pt range. [program_tooltip program_id='1219376' first='Tru' last='Colorado'] has impressed all summer and this tournament plus the rest of July will make a great summer for Romero-King and squad.

Bates with B&B Academy is ready for July competition. This guard is strong with the ball in her hands. She can handle full court pressure and get herself to scoring spots in the half court. Bates can score from all over the court. She gets to the basket for tough buckets among taller post players. She can also get points from mid-range and three-point range both. Offensively, she gets it done for her team. The same on the defensive end, Ashlyn can pick up full court to get steals and traps. In the half court she is in help side, in the passing lanes and even makes it hard for post players in the paint with her quick hands. She does all the little things that will make her and B&B impressive for the rest of this tournament and July.

Grosboll is key for [program_tooltip program_id='712413' first='BC' last='Denver'] 16U. She uses her height to her advantage on both ends. On defense she can guard post players in the paint, using her quickness to stay in good position and giving players only one chance before she snatches the defensive rebound. She is also long and can move her feet, so she can get stops playing on the wing and traps in full court pressure. On the offensive end Ava makes herself a great target for her team in the paint and on the perimeter both. She has a high game IQ. With the ability to hit outside and high post shots over shorter players and she can definitely hold her own against post players in the paint. This forward definitely has what it takes to battle in the July live periods.
