Grosboll is key for BC Denver 16U. She uses her height to her advantage on both ends. On defense she can guard post players in the paint, using her quickness to stay in good position and giving players only one chance before she snatches the defensive rebound. She is also long and can move her feet, so she can get stops playing on the wing and traps in full court pressure. On the offensive end Ava makes herself a great target for her team in the paint and on the perimeter both. She has a high game IQ. With the ability to hit outside and high post shots over shorter players and she can definitely hold her own against post players in the paint. This forward definitely has what it takes to battle in the July live periods.
