This weekend I was in to evaluate at North Tartan Summer Jam 2025 in Minneapolis. Friday was jam packed with action from the 12U level all the way to the 17U level, competing at multiple high school's around the city.

Throughout the day I took live-notes on prospects and really diving into what makes each of those players tick. In this article we go-over some of those notes.

Thanks for tuning in and enjoy!

[player_tooltip player_id='510277' first='Izzy' last='Eisbach'] - PG - [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] EYCL 17U

"Eisbach came to play on Saturday night with her EYCL team. Dishing out sweet assists in transition, hitting open jumpers off of her teammates creations, all while being a vocal leader that her team can rely on in big moments to make it happen. This game was out of hand from the start with AIA leading 19-0 at the very beginning. It did get a little closer at the end but not by much."

[player_tooltip player_id='638015' first='Maryne' last='Szalo'] - SF/CG - [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] EYCL 17U

"I like the versatility that I saw out of [player_tooltip player_id='638015' first='Maryne' last='Szalo'] tonight at the SF/CG position. Szalo worked inside to out, made smart and calculated plays, and she never seemingly gave up on a single possession until she had to get back on defense the other way. The mixture of size, skill, and ability Szalo has is nice. She should be a solid collegiate prospect one day soon in the future."

[player_tooltip player_id='560334' first='Claire' last='Turner'] - PG - Pure Prep 17U

"If [player_tooltip player_id='560334' first='Claire' last='Turner'] wasn't committed for D1 soccer, she would be a high end D2 commit on the hardwood. Turner has speed, extreme athletic ability, an impressive shooting stroke from deep, and a an act for being in the right place at the right time. She does possess some "bad" habits because of her level on competition in high school but that happens to everyone. Overall on Friday, Turner was one of the best in the tournament at the 17U level and that's noteworthy when considering the competition."

Sadie Hall - SG/PG - Minnesota Star 17U 3SSB

"You could honestly take the entire Minnesota Stars 17U 3SSB team and put them all on a college roster of some type. Everyone would have a different level they could play at but they could all play is the point. Someone who jumped off the page right away when watching this group compete was SG/PG - Sadie Hall. Hall has the size, coordination, balance, and everything you could ask for out of a hooper at this age level. She works well in a system and that will play for her in college. She doesn't want to force any action, usually just taking what the defense gives her and that plays into her success."

Ari Peterson - CG - [program_tooltip program_id='712377' first='All' last='Iowa Attack'] 16U EYBL

"I'm going to go out on a limb at this event and say that Ari Peterson of AIA 16U EYBL is going to turn out as one of the best overall players at the end of the day, that we have seen throughout this event. Peterson has grown more since May, coming in right around 6'2. She is also very skilled offensively, while being a defensive stopper that can switch. When taking into consideration all the intangibles, Peterson checks off A LOT of boxes."
