Saturday Forwards 17U PGH Dynasty Finals

Others I have seen before and was impressed with the development over just the past few months. Check them out and give these young ladies a follow. Good footwork in the post keeping the feet moving to always provide the guards with a great angle to enter the ball. Once she gets her body between you and the goal it is going to be a bucket. Solid offensive rebounder that cleaned up some misses for easy puck back. Does have a smooth mid-range jumper at the free throw line area making her a great option in the high low set. Showed the outside 3 on sagging defense just to keep them honest.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On defense she did a great job at denning the offensive player easy post ups on the block by using her lower body strength to disposition them. London has strong mid-range shooting game to go along with a nice 3-point shot. So, team matched up with a guard. This is where she took them down low and finish with strong moves in the paint. Always moving without the ball cutting off the shuffle screen ready to catch and finish.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A very versatile player that can defend the outside 2/3 guard and physical enough to defend the post on the inside. Runs the floor filling that rim runner position with hands ready for the catch and finish. Moves without the ball finding gaps against the zone for the inside game or against a man sneaking on a back door cut. A nice outside shot that has good footwork on the catch ready to shoot or drive. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Solid rebuilder that seems to always be around the rim for the board. Showed good help defense rotation walling up with long arms in the air changing the shot taken. Long arms, strong base and physical are the best ways to describe her. She is currently ranked #2 in her position and I can see why after watching her play this past weekend. On the block post up showed great footwork in keeping the defender on the high side giving the passer easy target to get a assist. Amazing jumping ability that I am guessing comes from her past year as a volleyball player. Past experience in that sport shows as she jumps vertical for the blocks avoiding the fouls.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A very high-profile player that is off to a great start this first part of the summer circuit. Solid post up on the low block that when she has you on the backside it is going to be a score. Showed that high post jump shot when teams dropped down to cover the high low action. Nice rip and go from the top as well getting her to the rim for the foul plus one. Score many of her points off the offensive put backs showing that she will go hunt down that rebound. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On defense there were not free looks cutting across the paint. Possibly owns the most complete scoring game I saw this past weekend. Scored in the post area with nice footwork on a drop spin move. Next was a nice rip and go from the free throw line finishing with a layup. So just when you think I will drop back and protect the drive she nails a 3-point shot. Excellent offensive rebounder that cleaned up the mises for putbacks. Handled the ball with confidence in the open court on breaks with eyes up the court. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On defense she gets down low and is very long making it hard to the ball handlers to get pass her. Great instincts on the next pass jumping the passing lane for the steal. A 2026 that I look forward to following to see where she lands. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
