[player_tooltip player_id='1239446' first='Avery' last='Webb'] had one of the best shooting forms in the Last Chance Shootout event. Her lefty shot had a quick release, but remained compact and smooth. Against Team Tae at the event, she showed off her three-point shot by knocking down a corner three, and coming close on a couple of other attempts.

Webb, outside of her three-point shot, is good at reading her opponents on defense. She got a couple deflections and steals against Team Tae from just predicting what move or pass they were going to make.

[player_tooltip player_id='1166687' first='Jada' last='Slagle'] was on the same team as Webb and also showed off a solid shot from long range. Against Team Tae, she made a three early. This forced them to step up, even with Slagle playing the big position.

Slagle also showed some defensive skills, with some good contests and steals at the event. She is a solid creator on offense, too. In games, she located her teammates open for shots on numerous occasions.

Ava Byers showcased a solid shooting form from long range, among other things. She is quick and is also a great mover off the ball. This helped her get open looks from threes a ton at the event.

She was a disruptor on the defensive end as well. The Independence Lady Eagle was constantly disrupting the flow of the opposing offense. Against the Knockouts, she also displayed her rebounding ability. Late in their game, the Knockouts were on the heels of a comeback, but Byers helped shut this down by grabbing a couple of big offensive boards. This helped her team extend possessions and close out the game

She is truly just an extremely versatile player who provides tools that help teams win games.

[player_tooltip player_id='1248869' first='Jayda' last='Madison'] can shoot from just about anywhere. She can shoot threes, mid-range shots, and even has the touch to shoot a short jumper in the painted area. She showed this full shooting bag against the Knockouts. And the best part was she was confident in her shot. There was no hesitation on any of her pull-ups. She was just letting it go.

[player_tooltip player_id='1239757' first='Layla' last='Hickson'] has unlimited range. In one game at the event, she let a three fly from the left wing with her feet well behind the arc. That shot sank through the bottom of the net with ease.

To go along with her shooting, she also showed off her speed and her playmaking.

At the event, Hickson played point for her team and excelled at it. She had an awareness of when to attack and when to keep things flowing. Her plus speed helps her to get past defenders on the dribble, as well as hound and stay in front of them on the defensive side.
