2028 Rankings Watchlist: Primed to increase STOCK

With the new update to the 2028 rankings, there are several players we've seen a lot of during this past high school and travel season. Some have been on our radar for a while, while others are late bloomers or players we're just now getting a good look at. These are the players on our watchlist—ones we're monitoring closely to see if and when they're ready for a big jump in the rankings.    [player_tooltip player_id='1235684' first='Audri' last='Colten'] is really coming into her own, and her enrollment at Bell Creek this year was a great fit. She showcased her ability to pass, shoot, and be a vocal teammate. She has a strong skill set as a shooter, with consistent form and a solid follow-through, along with good ball-handling skills to protect the ball.     [player_tooltip player_id='1235692' first='Milaya' last='Chapman'] is one of the most skilled guards in her class. She is creative with the ball and can score at all three levels. Her ability to shoot off the dribble with either her dominant hand or off-hand makes it difficult to time her shooting motion, and she has the same versatility near the rim, finishing with both her left and right hand. She makes good decisions on the fly and shoots the ball well. She also gets out early in transition, making it easy for her teammates to find her. Look for her to fully embrace her role this sophomore year and help her team win big games.     [player_tooltip player_id='1227827' first='Emilia' last='Edgar'] is one of the most underrated guards not only in her class but in the state. When you watch her play, you'll be impressed with how skilled she is with the ball—whether it's shooting, dribbling, passing, or her overall decision-making. Edgar has the potential to be the leading scorer and assist leader in every game she plays, thanks to the confidence she has in her game. If she fully leans into that confidence this sophomore year, she could be the next big riser in the rankings.     [player_tooltip player_id='1245933' first='Zara' last='Noto'] is really coming into her own, showing the potential to be a high-quality two-way player. With her length, she disrupts the flow of offenses by causing turnovers or slowing down the opposing team's rhythm. Offensively, she gives her all on every play and plays with a high motor on every possession. She doesn't mind doing the dirty work—diving for loose balls, fighting for extra rebounds, setting screens, and making the extra pass. Heading into her sophomore year, Zara is gaining confidence and could emerge as a leading scoring option this season.     [player_tooltip player_id='646521' first='Kelsey' last='Assent'] is a prolific and skilled scorer. She has so many talents that she hasn't even chosen which one to perfect yet—but once she does, she'll be a problem for even the best defenders in the state. Her effortless skill set, combined with a high motor and the 100% effort she gives on every play, makes her a joy to watch. This season, all eyes will be on her to see how far she can go, and she could make one of the biggest jumps in the next rankings.
