For rising seniors, July is a crucial time in the AAU season. With a limited window in which to showcase their skills before the campaign (and their AAU career) comes to a conclusion, the pressure is on players to demonstrate one final time that they are worthy of a scholarship offer. This is particularly true for players in the Prep Girls Hoops Class of 2026 who appear to be under-recruited at this point. We aren't privy to all of the recruiting going on – some players tell all, others keep their process close to the vest – but we do communicate regularly with coaches in the region about where players fit in the 2026 puzzle. Here are five under-recruited prospects coaches should see during the July live period.

#13 [player_tooltip player_id='362575' first='Callie' last='Oakland'] – 2026 forward, St. Croix Lutheran ([program_tooltip program_id='712687' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] UAA)

Few players in Minnesota's 2026 class can match Oakland's combination of size, strength, and skill. The 6'1 lefty forward was dominant this past season, averaging 19 points, 16 rebounds, and an eye-popping 90 blocks for St. Croix Lutheran. Her big frame and broad shoulders make her a force down low, but her game extends well beyond the paint. Oakland has a soft shooting touch and can step out to hit jumpers, both in the midrange and beyond the arc. She plays with power and grit, punishes opponents defensively, and consistently outworks others on the glass. Callie's mobility and old-school post skills make her a versatile asset for any system. As one of the highest-rated uncommitted posts in the state, she's a solid Division 1 prospect with a complete toolkit and a high basketball IQ. Fury UAA will play in Indianapolis this weekend and in Spooky Nook, Pennsylvania next week.

#19 [player_tooltip player_id='478362' first='Morgan' last='Korf'] – 2026 guard, Pelican Rapids ([program_tooltip program_id='712722' first='North' last='Tartan'] EYBL)

Korf is a coach's dream: a 5'7 guard with 2,000 career points and the poise of a veteran floor general. A standout in West Central Minnesota, she started her AAU career with Inspired Athletics out of Fargo before transitioning to [program_tooltip program_id='712722' first='North' last='Tartan']'s EYBL squad last summer. While her minutes have been limited behind a deep backcourt, Korf's opportunity may grow this weekend with [player_tooltip player_id='252381' first='Maddyn' last='Greenway'] away on Team USA duty in Europe. Korf has deep shooting range, elite basketball instincts, and the competitive fire that makes her a problem on both ends of the floor. She moves the ball intelligently, leads without ego, and doesn't shy away from contact. Her defensive intensity is impressive. The NT EYBL squad is in Louisville, Kentucky this weekend.

#25 [player_tooltip player_id='455051' first='Vivian' last='Carter'] – 2026 forward, Holy Angels ([program_tooltip program_id='712687' first='Minnesota' last='Fury'] S40)

Carter's game is built on versatility, finesse, and quiet resilience. The 6'0 forward from Holy Angels was sidelined with an LCL sprain a couple of weeks ago when we went to see her but appears ready to return to the floor for the live period. Last season she averaged 9.4 points and 6.3 rebounds for the Stars, contributing on both ends in meaningful ways. Carter's length and athleticism allow her to defend nearly every position, while her offensive game continues to expand. She can drive, finish, and stretch the floor with range. Her growth has been steady despite setbacks, and her maturity and work ethic show in her ability to impact games without forcing anything. Vivian is a multi-level threat and a dependable teammate whose ability to grind through adversity make her a valuable recruit at the Division 1 level. Fury S40 will be in Cincinnati, Ohio for the live period.

#27 [player_tooltip player_id='894002' first='Jayden' last='Sonnenberg'] – 2026 guard, Frazee (Inspired Athletics EYCL)

Sonnenberg is one of the most intriguing prospects in Minnesota's 2026 class, an intense competitor who climbed 22 spots in the most recent rankings update all the way up to #27. At 5'11, she blends length, athleticism, and high-energy play in a way that's hard to ignore. Sonnenberg attacks downhill with confidence, rebounds well for her position, and can knock down shots from deep. She's earned D1 and D2 offers on the strength of her pace, poise, and hustle. Jayden moves the ball well in transition, makes smart reads, and is efficient with her shot selection. Her game has polish, but it's her motor that separates her from the pack – she never stops working. A strong performer in recent events, Sonnenberg is proving she belongs in the conversation for mid-major college programs. Sonnenberg will be playing in Las Vegas this weekend.

#32 [player_tooltip player_id='567377' first='Sadie' last='Hall'] – 2026 guard, Shakopee ([program_tooltip program_id='714566' first='Minnesota' last='Stars'] 3SSB)

Hall brings quiet confidence and refined fundamentals to the floor every time she plays. The 5'9 combo guard led Shakopee in scoring last season (17 ppg). This spring and summer she has been excellent on the 3SSB Circuit and in tournaments in Minnesota. Her game is rooted in skill: a strong handle, smart footwork, and the ability to score from all three levels. Hall excels at reading defenders, creating separation with a slick step-back, and knocking down threes – even from deep range. She plays with pace and poise, never rushing her decisions under pressure. A physical, willing defender and excellent cutter, Hall does the little things that make a team go. She may not always draw headlines, but her consistency, toughness, and basketball IQ make her an essential piece on a team that has had plenty of success over the years.
