The final sprint of the 2025 AAU season is here. Today, before I make the drive down to Louisville tomorrow, I will highlight some names for college coaches to watch wherever they may be over the next two weeks. There are a handful of players who could impress coaches at the D1 level to end their AAU seasons.

Alahnna Simpson

The La Crosse native is a talented kid who can do a little of everything on both ends of the floor. She has the length, skill, and mobility to make plays that few others in her class can. The talent is there, and she's had games that have made me raise my eyebrows. You don't see many players as athletic and skilled as she is, and realize they're still available at this time in the AAU season. Her ceiling is among the highest in her class.

[player_tooltip player_id='533058' first='Samantha' last='Davis']

Davis is an excellent athlete, and that is probably the first thing that jumps out about her game. However, some of the leadership qualities Davis has shown, especially when things haven't gone well with her Prime team over the past two AAU seasons, have been what's told me the most about her. She tries to make the most out of any situation and never gives up on any game or situation. Davis is a player who gets the most out of the players around her, and most importantly, kids respond to her.

[player_tooltip player_id='764918' first='Anna' last='Miller']

Ever since I first watched Miller, I have enjoyed her game. The way she can pick defenses apart as a scorer or distributor is impressive, and she has confidence no matter when she steps on the floor. She may not have the physical tools that some programs look for in their lead guards, but Miller boasts all the mental traits that generate high-level lead guards and will outperform any expectation she has at the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='751246' first='Awut' last='Alic']

The Oshkosh native is a skilled wing who has improved over the past two seasons. Alic has the talent to be among the most productive players at the next level in her class, and the athleticism that could make her an intriguing and versatile defensive player at the next level. She can score at all three levels, but what determines her ceiling at the next level will be how well she can defend, and she has the tools to be an elite defender.
