Talented 2028 Point Guards from the Run 4 Roses

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at some of the talented Class of 2028 point/combo guards who caught our attention at the first session of the Run 4 Roses in Louisville, KY.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/07/IMG_4018.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1267900" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1113094' first='Rozlyn' last='McDevitt'] ([program_tooltip program_id='715428' first='Real' last='Dream Chasers']): A 5'4" point guard from St. Joe Lafayette who helped lead RDC to a Platinum Division championship. She is a stellar floor leader who handles the offensive like an old school point guard, but can score like a new school one. She distributes the ball very well and gets it to her teammates in their most comfortable spots. She is also a three-level scorer with 3-point range and nice runner in the lane. She can also impact the game on the defensive end with her quickness and ball hawking.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/07/IMG_4462.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1275921" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='886539' first='Samaiya' last='Johnson'] ([program_tooltip program_id='715824' first='Columbia' last='Supreme']): A 5'6" combo guard from Raymore-Peculiar with good athleticism and scoring ability. There was one play when she went over the top of a crowd to grab a rebound in an impressive display of athletic ability. That was an attention-grabber. Her ability to score in a variety of ways will also grab your attention. She is creative off the dribble and she can pull up for the runner or hit the step back from 3-point range. She is excellent in the open court.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/07/IMG_4004.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1275914" /></figure>   Saniya Johnson (Stingers Basketball Association): A 5'7" guard from Springfield HIllcrest who is one of the fastest players in the class. She can be a one-girl press breaker at times with her speed and quickness to get by a horde of defenders. She does a good job of getting downhill on the dribble and she can score in the lane. She is also a strong on-ball defender who can pick up opposing players in the backcourt and stay with them their entire 94 feet.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/07/IMG_4078.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1275915" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='886563' first='Jordyn' last='Wray'] ([program_tooltip program_id='713121' first='Lady' last='Brad Beal Elite']): A 5'7" southpaw guard from Hickman is a talented player from the Mid Mo area. She uses her strength to hold off defenders as she gets into the lane. She can get all the way to the rim for the layup or she can stop and pop with the mid-range jumper. She can also play off the ball and knock down the 3-pointer off the catch.       ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/07/IMG_4225.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1275916" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='906865' first='Audrey' last='Sims'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712484' first='Della' last='Lamb'] 15U): A 5'8" combo guard from Park Hill who followed up an excellent freshman campaign with a strong summer with [program_tooltip program_id='712484' first='Della' last='Lamb'], who won multiple national tournaments in July. First of all, the young lady is a bucket from all three levels. She has deep shooting range and she can create off the dribble to get to different spots on the floor to score. She also has good court vision to find open teammates with her passing. She has already picked up her first Division I offer from Lindenwood University.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/07/IMG_4775.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1275917" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1047485' first='Ryleigh' last='Davis'] (Mavs Elite): A 5'x guard from Thayer who is one of the most talented young players in the SWMO area. She played with a talented Mavs Elite team during the summer. She is a potent offensive player who can spread the ball around with her passing or score from all three levels. She can create off the dribble well and she also plays well off the ball as she can work off screens for 3-pointers. She is also a solid defender who will work to keep offensive players in front of her.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/07/IMG_4458.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1275918" /></figure>   Bayleigh Bluett ([program_tooltip program_id='715824' first='Columbia' last='Supreme']): A 5'6" guard from Hickman who is quick and can really shoot the ball from the perimeter. She can also beat her defenders on dribble penetration, which makes her very difficult to guard. She can also provide some good on-ball defensive pressure.     *******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/07/IMG_4263_d92897.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1275927" /></figure>   Cyriniti Chatman ([program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] 15U/Robinson): A 5'3" guard from Louisiana who is a high energy player with excellent speed and quickness. She's an aggressive ball hawk on defense who will pick you up in the full court or she can surprise you from behind when you're not looking and pick your pocket. The tempo of play always picks up when she is in the game, especially on the defensive end.     *******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/07/IMG_4260.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1275929" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='999538' first='Trinity' last='Chatman'] ([program_tooltip program_id='712694' first='Missouri' last='Phenom'] 15U/Robinson): A 5'4" guard from Louisiana who is the twin sister of Cyrinity. Like her sister, she has speed to burn and a strong motor that is always running and always in a position to make plays.   ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/07/IMG_4461.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1275922" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='886555' first='Zaire' last='Jones'] ([program_tooltip program_id='715824' first='Columbia' last='Supreme']): A 5'7" guard from Hickman who has excellent quickness and good handles to create offense off the dribble. She has a quick first step and a burst to get by defenders and into the lane. She can elevate well on her shot as she can also hit the 12 foot pull up off the glass.
