(Cover photo) [player_tooltip player_id='221605' first='Alyssa' last='Hill'] earned significant minutes this travel season with New Era, showcasing her versatility on the court. The long guard can shoot efficiently and heat up quickly off the catch. During the July live period, she demonstrated the ability to push the ball through trap defenses and find open teammates. Defensively, she positions herself well in the gaps and uses her length and basketball IQ to force turnovers. Heading into her junior year, she has sharpened all her skills and is poised to make a major impact on a winning season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1232629' first='Abigail' last='Philistin'] has earned all the attention she needs heading into her junior year after an impressive summer. She is bound for a breakout season, having showcased her versatility against a wide range of positions during travel play. A classic small forward, she can guard positions one through five, score in the post or off the dribble, shoot with smooth form off the catch, crash the boards relentlessly, and display excellent passing vision, patience, and balance around the rim. She did all this against some of the top competition in the nation, and she enters her junior season confident and ready to shine.

[player_tooltip player_id='1134044' first='Ke'Nya' last='Clark'] hit her stride this travel season, showcasing her ability to use her length and agility to be a defensive disruption. She consistently keeps her hands active, making it difficult for opponents to make wing or post entry passes, while maintaining straight-up defensive positioning. Her quick decision-making after forcing turnovers and her rim-running ability lead to easy buckets. She doesn't need plays drawn up for her, as she excels at grabbing rebounds and positioning herself for easy dump-offs, finishing with a soft touch around the rim. Expect her to be a top contributor this high school season in multiple statistical categories.

[player_tooltip player_id='515056' first='Lorena' last='Faber'] has the footwork and length to get her shot off in the post with effective head fakes and step-throughs, and she can finish with either hand around the rim. She also has the IQ to know when to cut and how to position the ball against her matchups. Her ability to stretch the floor by knocking down the three, or taking one or two dribbles into a short pull-up jumper, makes her even more difficult to guard. Expect Lorena to make a big jump in the next rankings and continue to rise throughout the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1183630' first='Charity' last='Davis'], playing on the Puma circuit, picked up a lot of attention, especially in July. She has the perfect blend of toughness, skill, and athleticism, making her a known presence on both ends of the floor. Her knack for earning extra opportunities on the boards by outwitting her matchups is a skill in itself. She fights for position early, putting defenders in tough situations, scoring through contact or drawing fouls, which often leads to easy points at the free-throw line. She can also face up and take defenders off the dribble with an explosive, low first step. Expect her to be one of the top players in Hillsborough County this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='873418' first='Emry' last='Warren'] secures and protects the paint like the military—any shot that comes into her proximity is either altered or blocked. She rotates quickly on defense and knows how to contest at the top of the shot. In transition, she sprints ahead of her matchups and finishes high off the backboard. Her ability to stay active on both ends makes her a stat sheet stuffer, consistently impacting the game in multiple ways.
