Expert Analysis

The fluidity and ease that Clark moved with on the court immediately jumped out to me to go along with her great size and length. That doesn’t always translate into games with players, but with Ke’Nya it was evident quickly that she had game to go along with the physical gifts she has. She challenged shots at the rim with very good effect, blocking and altering some while deterring players from taking others. She elevated very well and showed very good speed in quick bursts getting up and down the court. Offensively, Clark was efficient with her opportunities around scoring the basketball around the basket on quick dump offs from teammates and put backs on offensive boards. She is a definitely a player with a place on the next level, the question is where will that be.

Ke’Nya put together a strong high school season, averaging a double-double and breaking her school’s single-game record with 26 rebounds. She earned First Team All-County honors from the Sun Sentinel, solidifying her impact for her team on both ends of the floor. Clark continues to show growth with her back-to-the-basket game, improving her ability to read defenders, spin effectively, and finish with either hand while keeping the ball high. Defensively, she uses her length to protect the rim, alter shots, and generate deflections. She also runs the floor well for her position which creates easy opportunities in transition. Ke’Nya is a relentless rebounder with a strong motor, and she embraces the physical side of the game and consistently controls the glass.

hit her stride this travel season, showcasing her ability to use her length and agility to be a defensive disruption. She consistently keeps her hands active, making it difficult for opponents to make wing or post entry passes, while maintaining straight-up defensive positioning. Her quick decision-making after forcing turnovers and her rim-running ability lead to easy buckets. She doesn’t need plays drawn up for her, as she excels at grabbing rebounds and positioning herself for easy dump-offs, finishing with a soft touch around the rim. Expect her to be a top contributor this high school season in multiple statistical categories.

Ke’ Nya Clark played well and was a player who did the little things. She did a good job of utilizing her length, especially on the offensive rebounds and scoring on the inside. Clark was versatile and had the ability to play on the wing and down on the blocks. She had great energy and also ran the floor well. She showed versatility on the defensive end with her ability to cover 4s and 5s as well as shooting guards and small forwards.

Ke’Nya has one of the highest ceilings of any player in her class. She’s tall, lengthy, and a great frame for the next level. She is very mobile for a post player and runs the floor well. Her presence is always felt in the paint with her ability to block or deter shots on defense or snag boards on either end. Every time I see her play, she has gotten better with her finishes and footwork around the rim. Her mid-range game and ball handling continue to improve as well.

has been an under the radar player, but was front and center last weekend. The power forward had great size, showed some athleticism, and ran very well up and down the court. Clark hit the glass and had several offensive putbacks.
