We are in a slow time for live basketball, so what better to do than dive into some film and get to know some prospects better? I put a tweet out into the X universe asking for film and plan to write an eval on each player that responded and took their recruiting into their own hands. Let's take a look at some Sophomores and Juniors with intriguing film:

Alysya does a fantastic job of using her dribble to get downhill and create from there. Her passing and vision are high level in this class as she feeds the post in the half-court and advances the ball so effectively with the pass in transition. She rebounds it well from the guard position and can finish with strength and finesse with both hands. Offensively, she spaces the floor with her awareness, can hit the 3 ball, and can knock down the runner from the mid-range and in.

Sienna doesn't need much time or space to knock down the deep ball. Her hesitation dribble and ability to read the floor and the defense allow her to create space and separation. She has shown the skill to excel in the mid-range game with her runner, floater, and pull up jumper. Defensively, she does not shy away, plays aggressive, and has active hands against ball handlers. I really like her ability to be proactive and ability to quickly access the defense in transition.

Aubrey's film is full of defensive highlights which is exciting as those are usually skipped. She's able to read the defenders eyes to jump into passing lanes and get steals. Her hands are so active defensively which is another reason why she led her team in steals with 4 per game. She was also second in points and assists as well.

Gessicah's film showed she is one of the speediest players in Florida's 2027 class. She uses that speed and length to blow by defenders in transition and also catch them on the defensive end with chase down blocks. Her step-through move and ability to knock down deep 2's with solid form make her a serious threat on both ends of the floor. I'm excited to see her compete against some of the best in Longwood this weekend!
