The 2026 rankings list now features 300 ranked prospects and 430 total. At this stage in the recruiting calendar, the offers on the table are an indicator of what level college coaches believe a prospect can play at. If there are no offers on the table, it's time for prospects to start reaching out to NAIA, D3, and JUCO programs. We believe, as a general rule, that now is the time when NAIA/D3/JUCO colleges are prioritizing the 2026 class, and they will continue to do so until roster spots are filled for next season. There are prospects whose current offers do not represent our evaluation of their abilities, and offers are not the ultimate measure we use to rank players. However, offers are a category in the evaluation criteria that we reflect upon during the rankings process.

Every high school season reveals more prospects across the state who don't play travel basketball but have qualities that make them a valuable college prospect. Most often, these prospects are NAIA/D3/JUCO rotational or JV/Reserve players. We do our best to find every prospect in the state who can play any level of college basketball. Colleges are always in need of new players to recruit who can help their teams compete--prospects who have a desire to play after high school. That's why it's so important for us to find as many players with college potential as possible and why it pains us when we miss any high school player who belongs in the rankings. Although it's impossible to see and evaluate everyone, that's our ultimate goal.

There will always be debate about which prospect is "better" than another, especially when comparing prospects who are being recruited to play at the same college level. As the rankings expand, there becomes less separation between prospects, with many fitting the mold of a JV/Reserve caliber player. Keeping all of that in mind, we feel very good about the accuracy and usefulness of our rankings as a respectable resource for college coaches to use.

Katelyn is a lanky guard-wing prospect who will be a major contributor for West Catholic again this winter. Her active hands, helpside instincts, and high effort produce many steals. Katelyn flies in transition and switches hands to avoid defenders on her way to the basket. She accelerates downhill and finishes well at the rim with either hand. Katelyn secures rebounds and can step outside to hit three-pointers.

Alecia showed plenty of upside as a college prospect during the [program_tooltip program_id='928192' first='Zero' last='Star Basketball'] Showcase and earned a ranking as a result. She's a competent ball-handler who motors up the court in transition to create scoring opportunities. Alecia finishes effectively with either hand, posts up defenders in the paint, has good touch around the basket, solid footwork, and is a deadly three-point shooter. She's an active defender and communicator. I expect Alecia to have a great senior season and multiple college opportunities when all is said and done.

Dani had a very productive junior season for Three Rivers, and she's going to be a key player again this winter. Dani is lethal from three-point range off the catch and the bounce. Her aggressiveness creates steals on defense, and she's a determined rebounder. Dani checks the boxes in multiple categories and will be a solid addition to a college program.

Darby had a great junior season at Hillsdale last season. She led the team in scoring and earned a first-team all-league selection. Darby contributed in every category--averaging 9.3 points, 4.1 points, 2.2 assists, and 2.1 steals per game. She's a weapon from three-point range who fires passes on a rope to open teammates and muscles her way into rebounding position. Darby is an excellent addition to Spring Arbor's women's basketball program.

Cleo surpassed 1,000 points as a junior, and she'll be the leader for LLH this winter. Cleo has length, athleticism, and skills that give her the versatility to impact games inside or on the perimeter. She knocked down three-pointers, played excellent defense, used good footwork to create space in the paint, and finished effectively around the rim at the Zero Star Showcase. Cleo has good instincts off the ball and will be a solid pickup for a college program.

Katie moved up into our rankings and has the potential to keep climbing the list. She picked up an offer from Lake Michigan College in September after a solid travel season for [program_tooltip program_id='932068' first='Michigan' last='Prospects']. Katie pushes the ball with pace to score transition layups and has a smooth mid-range pull-up off the dribble. She catches the ball ready to shoot from the outside and fills it up from three with a high release. Katie keeps her hands active on defense to disrupt passing lanes and has length that translates to the next level as a guard-wing prospect. She looks ready for a stellar senior season at Riverview.

Chloe had a solid travel season for [program_tooltip program_id='1239258' first='HB' last='Elite'] and is a Northern Michigan prospect who needs to be on college radars. She's an effective slasher who finishes well in traffic and uses excellent footwork to create space. Chloe has an effective floater game and is a determined rebounder on both ends. She models toughness and effort on the court. Chloe earned recognition as Cheboygan Daily Tribune girls' athlete of the year as a junior and will look to cap off an outstanding career at Inland Lakes in her final season.
