2028 Stock Risers

Following a busy summer and getting into the fall we were able to see some major growth in some of these sophomores heading into the high school season. Continuous growth and development is essential for athletes that have goals of playing at a high level. This article takes a look at some of the athletes we continue to see growth from. These are our Stock Risers.      Jade is a high-IQ, high energy and high effort athlete pg. She has great instincts, which lead to numerous steals, deflections, gathering of loose balls, and rebounding. She sees the court well, especially in transition, finding teammates running lanes. Shoots the ball from the three pretty well and has the ability to get downhill and finish through contact. She's a solid defender both on and off the ball and is able to guard multiple positions, being a stronger guard.         Karissa is a long, modern-day power forward, which means she has the ability to play in close around the basket, but also step out and handle the ball on the perimeter, as well as knock down the perimeter jump shot. Great rebounder on both sides of the ball and finishes around the rim with either hand. Does a great job of using her length to defend in the post and perimeter. Good shot blocker with good instincts and feel for the game.       Stretch forward with good IQ and toughness. She shoots the three ball with consistency, but also is able to put it on the floor to work her way down low. Has good vision and is very unselfish trying to find teammates for open looks. Great low post defender who makes it extremely tough to of offenses to get anything easy in close.     A tough, hard nose and fearless pg with a high motor. She shows great leadership qualities and sets an example with her play. She has a good handle and is tough to keep contained on the offensive end. She gets down hill going either direction and finishes well with either hand, but shows good depth in her jump shot when open. She also does a good job of finding teammates. An absolute hound on the defensive end, keeping constant pressure on the ball and making it very tough on opposing guards.         Solid guard with the ability to play on and off the ball. Has great vision and good IQ which allows her to make the right reads at a high level. She has a good handle and creative with the ball to create space and advantages off the dribble. Finishes well around the basket with either hand and shows the ability to shoot the ball from the midrange and from deep. Active on and off ball defender, using constant pressure and instincts to get deflections and steals.
