Class of 2028 Updated COLLEGE Prospect Rankings: New Additions

The updated <a href="https://prepgirlshoops.com/illinois/rankings/2028-watch-list/">2028 College Prospect Rankings</a> are here, and this class is still taking shape. With this group being younger, these rankings lean more toward physical attributes and long-term projection than polished skill sets. Size, athleticism, and positional tools carry more weight right now, since there's still plenty of time for players to grow and refine their overall game.   These are COLLEGE prospect rankings, meaning OFFICIAL OFFERS play a major role in player movement. D1 and D2 offers typically place players near the top, while D3, NAIA, and JUCO prospects will be listed further down the list.   High school or AAU accolades and stats don't hold much weight, as competition levels differ between seasons. What matters most is how each player projects at the next level... factors like length, speed, athletic upside, versatility, and positional fit stand out most in this stage of evaluation.   At this point, it's starting to become clear which players are ahead of the curve physically and which ones are still developing into their college potential. The Watch List features a solid mix of D2/D3 to JUCO-level prospects still being closely evaluated as they continue to grow.   <h2 class="wp-block-heading">Below are a couple of prospects that have made their entrance into both the rankings and the Watch List.</h2>    Whether it's just natural, crazy work ethic, or a perfect mix of both, this kid has something different that not too many players in this class have. She is beyond confident, plays with a calm but aggressive attitude, and can score from every angle. Her stock is trending only upwards.. and she will be a player to pay attention to. Huge upside.     There is no second doubt when Spinner is going to shoot the ball, and her ability to stretch the floor with confidence is something college coaches will put at the top of their scouting reports. She's a kid who can truly make an impact on both sides of the ball and puts out the same energy and effort when doing both. Strong potential.     Defensively, Munson is going to be key for LT this year. The length alone will allow her to be guard 1-3, and be a paint blanket when needed. She has quick instincts as well, and that could result in some W's for the program, especially if the confidence in the offensive game increases. A player to definitely keep an eye on these next couple of years.     Yeager is your key 3&D player that can change a game from start to finish. She's not a player who tends to play outside of the lines... she plays the game the right way, and seems to focus on things that will result in a win, less of an individual standpoint. She is confident from the arc, can guard the perimeter, and shows some impact with post players too.     The ball is on a string with Addison, and when you match that with the twitchiness that she plays with, it makes up for a strong combo guard who can bring pressure from both a scoring and passing angle. West is filled with talented guards, and Long is among the young ones who could bring some impact to the varsity squad.
