Munson’s combination of body awareness and basketball IQ made her an intriguing presence on the floor. I wrote next to her name “smart basketball player” then ✅ ✅ multiple times. Munson was comfortable attacking downhill and when she didn’t score, was fouled more than was called. She also hit a handful of very pretty high-arching threes. There’s a lot to like in the way she processes the game and Munson showed flashes of a game that can continue to expand in her junior year.

Munson has high potential, and she has the right frame to be a legitimate top tier prospect in her class. On both ends, she showed how much of a problem she can be, and the offensive side of her game is extensive. If her aggression stays consistent and the ball handling gets stronger and sharper, she could be up for an all-state type of season.

Skill wise, Munson is up there with some of the best talent in her class. She has the length, the IQ, and the overall scoring ability to be a threat from all levels on the court. Beyond the arc, she can control the game with her shot-making, and if she’s run off the line, her handles are solid and strong enough to get her to the next spot. There’s a bit of craftiness to her game as well, and a lot of that is seen around the rim. She should get offers in the future, and if she can lead this LT team to a deep playoff run, that’ll be another notch in her favor as a college prospect.

Munson has all the tools to be considered a 3&D prototype at the next level, a role that will always be held to a high standard. She is long, mobile, versatile, and plays with energy on both ends, while the confidence she plays with is clear and never wavers. When winter comes around, Munson will be a major focal point for her high school program. Big fan.

A player who can hang her hat on being a real threat beyond the arc, but is no slouch on the defensive end either. She is mobile, versatile, and can hurt you in the open floor just as much as she can in a half-court setting. Her game is simple but impactful, and she doesn’t need much to get things going, whether it’s flare screens, simple cuts, or creating for herself off the dribble. Munson is a name to know.

Munson showed off her versatility all weekend. The shot was falling from three, and she also did a strong job of attacking closeouts and finishing at the rim. Whenever her team needed her to provide offense, she stepped up in a big way. Defensively, she was impactful both on the ball as a point-of-attack defender and off the ball in help situations. One of the biggest things that stood out about Munson was her confidence and willingness to embrace big moments. She is not afraid of the spotlight and clearly wants the ball when her team needs someone to make a play.

Munson had to take on multiple roles this year due to key injuries in her program, and she stepped up whenever her number was called. Her skill set is versatile, and she can get a bucket at any level when needed, especially from outside of the arc. She’s longer than her listed height, which shows up on the glass and makes her tough to deal with. The potential is definitely there. Strong name to watch this AAU season.

Munson is a key piece of this LT team, and a ton of her impact comes on the boards. She’s a plug and play player who can get it done from all positions, but she also has the talent and skill to get her own bucket when necessary. The upside is present.

Defensively, Munson is going to be key for LT this year. The length alone will allow her to be guard 1-3, and be a paint blanket when needed. She has quick instincts as well, and that could result in some W’s for the program, especially if the confidence in the offensive game increases. A player to definitely keep an eye on these next couple of years.
