Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look a group of talented young forwards from the SWMO area. These underclassmen have already been making an impact at the varsity level and they are going to continue to get better.

Bella Argo (Clever): A 6'0" 2028 forward who is one of the top young prospects in the SWMO area. She followed up a nice freshman year at Clever with an excellent year of summer ball with the Shock Hoops (OK) 15U team. She is a smooth offensive player who really works well in the high post and mid post areas. She can beat defenders off the dribble and also knock down the jumper. She is a good athlete who is very fluid in her movements on the court. She can also work the passing lanes on the defensive end for steals and deflections.

[player_tooltip player_id='1225213' first='Taylyn' last='Whited'] (Kickapoo): A 5'11" 2028 forward who did a good job in limited varsity minutes as a freshman for a Kickapoo team that finished third in the Class 6 state tournament. She has good length and athleticism and she rebounds the ball very well. Her offensive game is very diverse as she can score around the basket, drive from the perimeter and also knock down jumpers. She also runs the court and can defend multiple positions. She had a big summer playing up a year with the Stingers Basketball Association 16U team.

Armani Blackmon (Sparta): A 6'0" 2028 forward who is a very good small school talent on the rise in the area. She is a physical post player who handles herself very well in the paint. She is a tough rebounder who grabs the ball with toughness and authority. She will throw a good outlet pass and go on a rim run. She uses her strength to seal defenders for good position and she catches the ball and finishes well inside.

Alexis Sigman (Willow Springs): A 6'1" 2027 forward who provides the inside compliment to standout 2026 standout guard [player_tooltip player_id='460893' first='Chloe' last='Jones']. The young lefty is an active rebounder who will get out of her area to corral boards. She is an excellent finisher when she catches the ball in the post or off an offensive rebound. She does a good job of using her height to her advantage.

Addington Roberts (Greenfield): A 5'10" 2028 forward who averaged eight points and seven rebounds a game in a very productive freshman season. She is strong and she doesn't mind playing a physical game in the post. She screens well and she fights for rebounding position very well. She uses her body well against defenders in the post. She is also a good secondary ball handler against pressure defense. She played up with the older players for [program_tooltip program_id='712692' first='Missouri' last='Flight'] during the summer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1309447' first='Kayleigh' last='Steimel'] (Fordland): A 5'9" 2027 forward who impressed me when I first saw her two years ago as a freshman at the Walnut Grove Tournament. She has good athleticism and she runs the court very well. She has a nice quick jump around the basket which gives her an edge on the boards. She played with the [program_tooltip program_id='712692' first='Missouri' last='Flight'] 16U team during the summer. She was an All-District player as a sophomore.

Ally Barton (Liberal): A 5'10" 2027 forward who is an excellent all-around athlete at the Class 1 level in basketball, volleyball and track. She is a very disruptive defensive player with her instincts and ability to anticipate. She can be a ball hawk or she can also rotate into the passing lanes for steals and transition opportunities. She should play a bigger role on offense this season with the graduation of All-State performer Taylor Swarmes.
