Her ability to stretch the floor is her primary weapon. But she's also sneaky off the bounce. With good finishing touch via difficult angles to score against taller foes. Like the early signs of her scoring DNA, and will be eager to track during high school season and then grassroots.

Promising 918 shooting guard. Started her career last week with an 11 point performance, including two three pointers in the second half of a tight contest. Shoots it clean and quickly. Did not looking phased by the moment. Should be a sign of big things to come, as she's capable of being a complete guard for a Skiatook team that is looking to be a sleeper in 4A.

The Lady Pirates are small town royalty, and the defensive minded Haysmer is starting to make her mark with them. They're rolling teams by an average scoring margin of 44 points. And the energy the freshman is bringing off the bench is a part of their relentless winning. Has quick hands to force steals and isn't afraid to get on the floor for loose balls either. It's a strong start with Haysmer earning valuable experience for a team that is looking to add to their prestigious trophy case.

After watching Watts at our freshman showcase in September, it's no surprise that she's able to hit the ground running. She's a tenacious and tough defender. Gets up and guards like it's fun, making life very tough on opposing ball handlers. Even got a block in her first game. Displayed similar court awareness on offense, with a blend of scoring and passing. There's an interesting mix of young talent for 2A Caney Valley, which could give them a backcourt capable of making a lot of noise down the road.

Florence started her high school career by helping her Pirates to an overtime win. She was in double figures with 10 points, but the highlights indicate she did more than score. Ran down loose balls, hustled for boards. Pushed the tempo off some of those boards with the vision and mission to set up teammates. Scrappy guard, who looks like a "bet on production" player down the road. Hope to see her continue to tighten her handle as she continues to develop.
