Happy final day before high school practices begin. Today is the last day without official basketball activities until March 15. We'll do our traditional stock risers and new additions for the 2027 class before updating the 28s tomorrow. That being said, let's highlight a handful of rising junior players to end the weekend.

In a situation where minutes and production were available for Monona Grove, Schmudlach stepped up and was a reliable offensive threat in her sophomore season as a Silver Eagle. She was a massive help and was a reason her team beat Neenah in the Wisconsin Dells last season, where she made a name for herself. Schmudlach is a talented scorer who can space the floor at any level and knock down shots whenever she has space. I'm curious to see how she can build on last season and continue to add to her offensive repertoire.

[player_tooltip player_id='1319432' first='Chelinda' last='Spector']

The Pius guard/wing is one of the more intriguing defensive prospects in her class in Wisconsin. Spector is an athletic, physical player who can defend multiple positions defensively. I've watched her make plays on the defensive end in the high school and AAU seasons. She may never be a player who scores 20 every game she plays, but she will make winning plays every opportunity she has.

[player_tooltip player_id='1114682' first='Cameron' last='Boelte']

The Kewaskum guard is a physical kid who can handle playing through traffic around the basket. I also think her athletic and physical tools will allow her to excel on the defensive end at the next level. She has also shown she can handle being the No. 1 option for her team offensively and had a solid year in that role last winter. I also love her ability to knock down shots and space the floor as an off-ball player. Boelte doesn't play at a traditional power at the high school level, but she can be an intriguing player to follow.

[player_tooltip player_id='751269' first='Madelyn' last='Springer']

The Hortonville guard had a solid sophomore campaign and played a more prominent role than she may have expected heading into the season. However, she turned a corner over the summer and grew in confidence offensively. She is a quick player who can beat her initial defender off the dribble and put pressure on the basket. Springer will have to step up to keep the Polar Bears near the top of the Fox Valley Association.
