New Names in the Top 60 of the 2026 Rankings Update

Every fall, an influx of talent arrives as players transfer into the Sunshine State's prep programs which often reshapes the landscape and impacts the rankings. The top few new additions to the Class of 2026 Florida Rankings are nationally recognized prospects who have chosen to continue their high school careers here. Here are some of the new names to know:    Sara enters the rankings as the #1 prospect in Florida, and her talent and tremendous upside makes that distinction well deserved. She is tall and long with rare athletic ability that allows her to run the floor with long stride and finish plays above the rim (she can DUNK). Her FIBA U18 EuroBasket MVP performance where she led Spain to gold showcased her dominance on the international stage. With her Senior season at [program_tooltip program_id='712489' first='DME' last=''] ahead, she projects as one of the best players in the country that will commit to a powerhouse in the spring.     Zaniyah enters the rankings as a nationally recognized guard and Auburn commit who brings power and versatility to the backcourt. Now at Montverde for her senior season, she continues to show why she's known as “The Problem.” Her strength and physicality allow her to dominate defenders and finish through contact. With the ability to score from all three levels, she's one of the most complete guards in Florida's 2026 class.     Joyce is a UCLA commit that joins the rankings with impressive international experience after averaging a double-double for Luxembourg at the U18 European Championships. She combines great size with a strong, physical frame and finishes well around the rim. Her offensive versatility stands out as she can score with solid post footwork, pull up in the midrange, or stretch defenses with her outside shot. Joyce's blend of power, skill, and efficiency makes her one of the most complete frontcourt prospects in this class.     Cai, a UMBC commit, joins the Florida rankings after making the move to IMG from Maryland. She takes pride in her academics and brings the same discipline to her game. Her long frame and smooth, high release make her a consistent scoring threat from the perimeter. She's a versatile athlete with strong instincts, and she'll share the court with her younger sister, Nevaeh, as both continue to develop at IMG.     Lily debuts in the Top 50 of the Florida 2026 rankings as an exciting new addition to the state's prep scene after transferring from Maryland. She brings a blend of length, touch, and interior skill that makes her a reliable scoring option in the post. Her smooth footwork and soft finishing touch give her an edge around the rim while her ability to step out and hit mid-range shots adds versatility. Defensively, she uses her size and timing to protect the paint and disrupt opponents effectively.     Bene joins PHCA by way of Ghana and immediately stands out with her great size and length. She plays with consistent energy and effort while giving her team a strong presence in the paint. Her physical tools and developing skill set make her an exciting post prospect. With continued growth, she brings valuable depth and upside to Potter's House and the Duval County frontcourt scene.
