She was active on the offensive glass, ran the floor well, and consistently made her presence felt in the middle, especially on the defensive end. On one possession her drop-step and finish through contact stood out. Defensively, she made it clear that she was in the paint. Deng was active, reliable, and physical. Her play reflected her readiness for the next level at Florida A&M.

Deng’s length and footwork are a problem for opponents both offensively and defensively. Offensively, she is decisive in her moves as soon as she receives the ball. She doesn’t need a play drawn up for her because she knows how to finish at the rim at the highest point, rarely bringing the ball back down before shooting.

Defensively, she rotates well, is always in help position, and consistently blocks or alters shots. Lily will be an exciting player to watch this season at ZCA.

Lily debuts in the Top 50 of the Florida 2026 rankings as an exciting new addition to the state’s prep scene after transferring from Maryland. She brings a blend of length, touch, and interior skill that makes her a reliable scoring option in the post. Her smooth footwork and soft finishing touch give her an edge around the rim while her ability to step out and hit mid-range shots adds versatility. Defensively, she uses her size and timing to protect the paint and disrupt opponents effectively.

Lily is an exciting addition to the Florida prep scene as an intriguing prospect that comes from Mt. Zion Prep in Maryland. Her length and touch around the rim stood out throughout practice. She showed good footwork inside and finished with a soft hook over her left shoulder. Lily’s ability to step out and consistently hit shots from 15 feet adds another layer to her game. She also protected the paint well and altered multiple shots defensively.

Stout defender and rim protector! Lily hosted a BLOCK PARTY today. If official stats were kept, I’m sure she flirted with a triple-double this morning (points, rebounds, blocks). She rarely was called for the foul as she sent back shots, remaining vertical and maintaining body control. At 6’4″, her length was extremely problematic. She had the paint on lock and turned back opponents looking to drive in for easy layups. Super agile for her size; had no problem getting up and down the floor, even beating much smaller guards in transition. A+ effort!

Long, lanky frame. She did a great job as the 5 on the team. Fluid mover getting up and down the court, keeping up with the pace of the game. She battled on the glass to secure rebounds, both defensive and offensive. She embraced the physicality Team Love brought to the table. Did a nice job repositioning under the basket when the opponent stretched her out. Back-to-the-basket; high baby hook with her right.

Lily has great size and wingspan but is still very raw on the offensive end. A true rim protector who also crashes the glass hard. Uniquely versatile for her position, she moves her feet well and can switch onto perimeter players without giving up ground. A good athlete and has the tools to be a dominant interior presence.

Liliy is long and athletic with the stature of a college athlete. She is an effective shot blocker and rebounder. Her ability to block or alter shots affects the other teams offensive decisions in the paint. She is aggressive inside with the ball and finishes high at the rim.

Lily has great length and has the athleticism to match. She is very active in the paint and at the rim. She can put the ball on the floor to attack from the key and get to the basket and showed the ability to start the break after the rebound. She runs the floor well and should be a key piece for the new look Cougars.

Ajok-Deng possesses the raw tools and want-to needed to be successful at the next level. The 6’4 forward knows what she is and anchors a very balanced Mt. Carmel team on the low block. The footwork and finishing ability are improving, she’s improving her rebounding feel around the basket and beating her matchup to spots. As she continues to develop the IQ to stay down on pump fakes and take better angles as a help-side shot-blocker, she shows the upside to be a rim protector at the HS level and beyond
