New Names of Forwards from the Giants Basketball Showcase

Prep Girls Hoops Missouri takes a look at some New Names of forwards who caught our attention at the Giants Basketball Showcase, which was held at the Farmington Civic Center.   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/11/IMG_7173.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1417133" /></figure>   Madison Clay (Farmington): A 6'0" 2028 forward who is very skilled and can be a matchup problem with her height. She displayed some nice post moves with good footwork around the basket, including a very good up-and-under for a bucket. She's very mobile and she was very comfortable handling the ball in the open court. She went coast to coast for a layup after grabbing a rebound. She also has some quick reactions and good instincts on the defensive end. She scored 14 points in the victory over Seckman.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/11/IMG_7164.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1417137" /></figure>   Lila Roth (Farmington): A 6'0" 2028 forward who scored 12 points the Knights' victory over Seckman. She is a good athlete who can operate in the low post and on the perimeter very well. She can turn and face and beat her defender with a quick first step and the drive. She hit a nice elbow jumper off the dribble and also a 3-pointer off the catch. She has good athleticism and mobility at both ends of the court.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/11/IMG_7237.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1417138" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='1231708' first='Eden' last='Robart'] (Potosi): A 6'0" 2028 forward who had an impressive performance in a victory over Cape Central. Her team runs a lob play for her and she uses her athleticism to catch the ball at the highest point to score a bucket. She catches the ball in traffic and keeps the ball high. She also plays well in the high post. She delivered some pinpoint passes and she also hit the 15-footer. She was also scoring on the drive.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/11/IMG_7190.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1417139" /></figure>   Lana Adams (St. Vincent): A 5'6" 2026 forward who is one of the toughest players that you will find on the basketball court. She plays much bigger than her actual height because of her physicality and tenacity. She gets in there and rebounds the ball and she can also establish good post position to score in the paint. She's capable of moving people around inside. She is also a good secondary ball handler who can pass the ball. She is a Mizzou soccer recruit who scored 53 goals last season. Very impressive.     *****   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/11/IMG_7255.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1417142" /></figure>   Reese Bequette (North County): A 2027 forward who is an excellent athlete who plays with a strong motor and she gets good results. On the opening tip against Herculaneum, she ran the court and grabbed an offensive rebounds to score on a putback. Her second and third efforts on the offensive glass were impressive. When she gets to her right hand, she is strong when able to get downhill on the drive. She was also getting steals and deflections on the full court press.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/11/IMG_7176.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1417143" /></figure>   Sophia Hall (Farmington): A 5'11" 2029 forward who is another strong part of Farmington's tall and talented young frontcourt. She scored 14 points in the victory over Seckman, which tied for team high honors. She is a good finisher around the basket. She is a good athlete who also has good defensive instincts. She made some good rotations over to get blocked shots. She also ran the court to get a bucket.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/11/IMG_7254.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1417144" /></figure>   [player_tooltip player_id='980389' first='Allison' last='Scott'] (North County): A 5'11" 2026 forward who plays a strong game in the low post. She gets good position and she's strong enough to move people around inside. She catches the ball well and she has a nice touch around the basket. She also rebounds the ball well and will get out of her area.     ******   <figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://prepgirlshoops.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2025/11/IMG_7225.jpeg?w=1024" alt="" class="wp-image-1417145" /></figure>   Sophie Verseman (St. Vincent): A 6'0" 2026 forward who did some nice things coming off the bench for the Indians. She did a good job of using her strength to get good position in the low post. She used a good second effort to score on an offensive putback. She also has strong hands, which she used to grab rebounds in traffic.
