This offseason saw a ton of movement with players landing at new schools for the 2025-2026 season. Now just weeks away from the start of high school basketball, we rank the top fifteen transfers based on projected impact with their new teams:

#1 [player_tooltip player_id='559076' first='Jayah' last='Curtis'] | Morris Catholic

Previous School: Montclair Immaculate

I got a glimpse at Jayah in her new threads during the scholastic live period where she was clicking on all cylinders. The transition less than three months after hanging up her ICHS jersey looked seamless, sinking the 3 ball at a high clip and being a hawk on defense. Morris Catholic has reloaded in the back court with the addition of Curtis who brings electricity, efficiency and physicality to the court, similar to what the Pauldo Twins contributed for the past four years. No one, and I mean no one, will outwork her!

#2 [player_tooltip player_id='559042' first='London' last='Caldwell'] | West Orange

Previous School: Montclair Immaculate

W.O. is in good position to replicate some of last year's success with the addition of Siena commit and two-way terror [player_tooltip player_id='559042' first='London' last='Caldwell']. She is one of the most complete guards in the state of New Jersey, combining sharp court vision, at-will scoring and hard-nosed defense. Her handles allow her to maneuver through traffic and the peskiest of man defense.

#3 [player_tooltip player_id='865698' first='Acadia' last='Walters'] | Bishop Eustace

Previous School: Haddonfield

One of the most dangerous 3-point shooters in South Jersey, Walters will look to control the back court this season for the Crusaders. She's no stranger to notching 30-point games, tallying three last year as a sophomore. Bullet-like speed on the break and the ability to finish at a high level through contact presents a tough task for defenders.

#4 [player_tooltip player_id='666727' first='Nilah' last='Rivera'] | Arts

Previous School: Montclair Immaculate

Arts has put themselves in the position to go undefeated yet again in conference play and push for a deep run in the postseason. The addition of [player_tooltip player_id='666727' first='Nilah' last='Rivera'] is huge as she will make an immediate impact across the board. One of the most dangerous point guards you'll find anywhere in the state, her court vision is exceptional. She delivers dimes, plain and simple! At 5'6", she does a nice job getting on the glass and boasts scrappy, no-nonsense defense.

#5 [player_tooltip player_id='835956' first='Rhaiyna' last='Brown'] | Immaculata

Previous School: Timothy Christian

One of the most prolific scorers in NJ the past two seasons, Rhaiyna certainly knows a thing or two about putting the ball through the hoop. She quickly established herself as one of the most dangerous 3-point shooters in this state and will look to keep Immaculata on the winning track after a 16-10 record a season ago. With lightning quick hands and anticipation, expect a boatload of steals in addition to piles of points tallied.

#6 [player_tooltip player_id='677735' first='Harper' last='Cohn'] | Saddle River Day

Previous School: Mahwah

SRD plays no games when scheduling tough opponents and something tells me Harper is more than ready for the challenge. The super savvy point guard is equipped with hot shooting from distance and a sharp eye for facilitating. Teammate [player_tooltip player_id='669307' first='Giada' last='Celetti'] can expect lots and lots of entry passes perfectly placed right at her fingertips.

#7 [player_tooltip player_id='914269' first='Carmela' last='Arana'] | Stuart Day

Previous School: Edison

Carmela hit the high school last season and wasted no time making her presence felt. She drilled big buckets and picked a lot of pockets to show everyone that she is one of the best guards in the '28 class. Stuart Day plays a much different and much more difficult schedule than Edison, making this a smart move for her to further develop her skillset. Not only will she make an immediate impact, she will likely lead the Tartans in multiple statistical categories.

#8 [player_tooltip player_id='601282' first='Mallory' last='Gianchiglia'] | Union Catholic

Previous School: Middlesex

The do-it-all point guard will round out her high school career where it all began... at Union Catholic! Mal will make an impact in all areas, from points, to rebounds, to steals and everything in between. She will push the pace and really speed up the tempo for quick buckets. One of her biggest strengths is making really smart decisions on the fly. She can adjust to whatever the defense throws at her and still play her style of basketball.

#9 [player_tooltip player_id='816416' first='Emily' last='Mattson'] | Saddle River Day

Previous School: Union Catholic

Em brings consistent 3-level scoring and committed defense to SRD. I like the move to SRD because I feel their style of play, coupled with the strength of schedule, will really aid in her development. She has an impressive skillset at both the 1 and 2, seamlessly adapting to whichever position coach assigns on any given night. The Colonial Rebels have a strong core in Mattson, Darling and Cohn.

#10 [player_tooltip player_id='677603' first='Arielle' last='Edwards'] | Morris Catholic

Previous School: Hudson Catholic

MC already has a double-double machine in [player_tooltip player_id='789169' first='Morgan' last='Fulston']. Now they have two. Edwards will complement Fulston nicely in the front court and give the Crusaders yet another post threat and rim protector. She can bang with the bigs and match their physicality without getting easily flustered or overpowered. MC will be dangerous yet again this season.

#11 [player_tooltip player_id='677602' first='Joelle' last='Murphy'] | Wildwood

Previous School: Wildwood Catholic

It's a pretty rare occurrence to see someone transfer from Wildwood Catholic to Wildwood, or vice-versa. This move, however, will pay dividends for both Murphy and the Lady Warriors. They have hoped for a legit big for years and now they finally get their wish. The 6'2" post had two quiet years at WCA, but after a big summer, she'll look to enjoy a breakout junior year. In fact, her career-high 11 rebounds came again Wildwood last year during the Holiday break. This time around, she'll look to impose her will on the glass against the Crusaders [and many others].

#12 [player_tooltip player_id='831948' first='Cali' last='Brown'] | St. Rose

Previous School: Jackson Memorial

Cali maintains her position in the Shore Conference [A Central], but will likely play a much tougher non-conference schedule. She dropped 27 points in two meetings last year against the Purple Roses and will now bring that same dynamic guard play to their back court. St. Rose will look to establish dominance against after losing most of their core from a season ago. Brown's hot 3-point shooting and locked in defense will likely see her in the starting rotation to begin the season.

#13 [player_tooltip player_id='601521' first='Niaja' last='Troutman'] | Arts

Previous School: Montclair Immaculate

Niaja can expect a boost in minutes and production this upcoming season. She showed solid play with Montclair Immaculate and gained tremendous experience playing against some of the best teams in the country. One of her biggest strengths is rebounding from the guard position, as displayed against Rutgers Prep (9 rebounds), Cathedral (MA) (6 rebounds), and Saddle River Day (8 rebounds).

#14 [player_tooltip player_id='651481' first='Brooke' last='Jaenicke'] | St. Rose

Previous School: Rumson-Fair Haven

Brooke will see plenty of playing time at St. Rose because of her ability to fill in the gaps and contribute in many ways, from chipping in points, to gabbing rebounds and executing on defense. A workhorse and a total team player, two things Coach Chrissy Hatfield absolutely adores!

#15 Allison McAndew | Colts Neck

Previous School: Trinity Hall

The Cougars are young and very dangerous. McAndrew only adds to their depth and gives Colts Neck yet another scoring threat and reliable rebounder. Her inside-out game continues to grow which spells trouble for opponents in the future.
