The many one-sided outcomes at the Breakdown Granite City Classic may have come as a surprise, but the high level of individual performances did not. Read the recap for all the details on her career-best 42-point performance against St. Michael-Albertville.

Mya wasn't the only one who lit it up, of course. Others delivered big-time on the defensive side of the equation. Here are 10 top performers at the Granite City Classic.

10 TOP PERFORMERS

[player_tooltip player_id='558627' first='Erma' last='Walker'] – The 2027 forward from Hopkins is nothing short of relentless. Erma may not be the tallest post player in the state, but nobody competes harder, plays with more intensity and has greater physical presence. On Friday she scored 19 points and was a beast on the boards in a 64-30 win over Fargo Davies. On Saturday Walker went head-to-head with top-three sophomore [player_tooltip player_id='644878' first='Sahara' last='Wilson'] of Lakeville North and got the job done in a 14-point performance.

[player_tooltip player_id='659130' first='Jaliyah' last='Diggs'] – The 2027 point guard from Hopkins is looking more and more like University of Florida standout Liv McGill, the 2024 Royals grad who has had a tremendous influence on Jaliyah's game. Diggs was exceptional in the Friday win with 16 points and 4 assists. She was even better on Saturday with a 21-point, 8-assist performance. While there are plenty of terrific pieces for Hopkins coach Tara Starks to work with, nobody has had more influence on the Royals 9-1 record than Diggs and Walker.

[player_tooltip player_id='252383' first='Lanelle' last='Wright'] – We have become accustomed to Wright's uber-efficient excellence over the years, but the 2026 guard from Minnetonka cannot be taken for granted. Her performance in Friday's 69-42 defeat of Alexandria was truly outstanding. Every time the Grand Canyon University commit touched the basketball, it seemed like good things happened. Wright's calm, composed offensive execution is a key reason why the Skippers are 10-0.

[player_tooltip player_id='994855' first='Izze' last='Austin'] – When the freshman guard moved from Edina to Minnetonka this fall it was only logical to assume it might take some time to fit in and find her groove. How wrong that assumption has proved to be. Izze is a starter for the Skippers, a sensational complement to Wright who creates so much through superior skill and energy. After an 11-point performance on Friday, the top 5 prospect scored 23 in Saturday's win.

[player_tooltip player_id='498663' first='Madison' last='Ohm'] – The senior guard from Byron was here, there and everywhere this weekend for the Bears. Committed to Division 1 Marist College in New York, the top 15 prospect has superior speed, quickness and athleticism to the vast majority of opponents. Combined with non-stop energy and a compete factor that is off-the-charts, Ohm is a joy to watch. She had 21 points Friday against Becker and 14 more Saturday versus Maple Grove.

[player_tooltip player_id='1095939' first='Raegan' last='Kelm'] – Last season as an 8th grader finding her way in varsity basketball, the athletic guard from Byron delivered beyond expectations. This year, the top 10 prospect in the Class of 2029 has taken her game to an entirely different level. With interested Division 1 coaches looking on, Kelm delivered two top-notch performances at Granite City with 14 points Friday and 15 more on Saturday while causing no end of havoc on the defensive end.

Rylee Seavert – Fargo Shanley was overmatched on Saturday against Minnetonka. Most teams from North Dakota struggle with the pace and athleticism of top Minnesota squads. A team like the Skippers, with a half a dozen D1 prospects, just hits different. Individually, however, Sievert had a tremendous outing. She, too, is a D1 prospect in the Class of 2028 and played like it. The 6'1 power forward put up 31 points and competed hard long after the outcome was determined.

[player_tooltip player_id='433933' first='Chloe' last='Johnson'] – We are spoiled getting the opportunity to watch Chloe do work on a regular basis. Rated by ESPN as the top 2028 point guard in the country, the big sophomore is the engine that pulls the Duluth Marshall train. Although she has to guard the biggest opposing players while also carrying the offensive load for her squad, Johnson always delivers. With high-major college suitors in attendance, Chloe had 16 points Friday in a four-point loss to Lakeville North and 22 on Saturday in a win over Goodhue.

[player_tooltip player_id='565313' first='Elsa' last='Retzlaff'] – Coming off an outstanding AAU summer during which she garnered her first Division 1 collegiate offers, the 2028 guard from Hillcrest Lutheran Academy in Fergus Falls has carried that momentum into the high school campaign. Elsa came out firing in Saturday's final game against Royalton making three threes, five twos and going 5-for-6 at the free throw line for 24 points. Her leadership skills and defensive intensity were on full display as the Comets extended their record to 8-1.

[player_tooltip player_id='1246846' first='Nivaya' last='Koles'] – We expected the freshman guard from Lakeville North to play an important role off the bench this season and that's exactly what she has done – until Granite City. With starting point guard and leading scorer [player_tooltip player_id='908286' first='Lauren' last='Robison'] sidelined with a painful foot injury, Koles has been thrust into the primary role. She looked right at home. Koles has reached double-digit scoring in five of her last six games, including 16 points against Hopkins on Saturday.

HONORABLE MENTIONS

[player_tooltip player_id='667778' first='Laila' last='Moses'] & [player_tooltip player_id='992385' first='Anaya' last='Shaffa'] – The DeLaSalle twosome has been the backbone of the Islanders throughout the season to date. It was no different at Granite City. In the tournament's first game on Friday, the two combined for 32 points in a decisive win over New Prague. Moses is an athletic forward rated 18th in the Class of 2027. The point guard Shaffa is a top 35 prospect in 2028.

[player_tooltip player_id='600748' first='Kaja' last='Nash'] – The 2027 guard from Wayzata has found her footing now one year after transferring to one of the state's power programs. She was in the starting lineup when we watched on Saturday, scoring 14 points and reaching 1,000 for her career.

[player_tooltip player_id='717663' first='Le'Sedra' last='Williams'] – Minnetonka has so many great pieces that the contributions of the 2026 forward can sometimes get overlooked. That shouldn't be the case. The Northern Iowa commit has been reliably excellent so far in her senior season, including two quality performances at Granite City.

[player_tooltip player_id='659119' first='Maren' last='Day'] – The 2027 guard from Wayzata, who is the 11th-rated prospect among Minnesota juniors, rarely disappoints. She's super smooth and highly skilled with superior competence and consistency in every aspect of the game. She has committed to mid-major power South Dakota State.

[player_tooltip player_id='589275' first='Sophia' last='Anderson'] – At 9-1 Maple Grove has been a pleasant surprise and the 2026 guard is one of the key reasons why. Following mass graduations, the Augustana commit is shouldering a huge load. With Montana commit [player_tooltip player_id='344332' first='Kate' last='Holmquist'] now sidelined, Anderson has to do even more. She delivered big-time in a win over Byron.
