About Chloe
Expert Analysis
Brandon Fisher | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Chloe continues to live up to the hype every time she steps in the gym, and it’s no surprise the entire state of Florida shows out to watch her play. From young players studying her game to being the first one in the gym, her presence and approach set the tone. There’s a reason she’s ranked #3 in the country in her class and has been competing up on 17U for a perennial program—her game is advanced, poised, and built for high-level play. She plays off two feet with great balance, gets strong elevation on her jumper, and is comfortable hitting tough shots like the turnaround. What stands out just as much is her unselfishness, consistently making the right play and elevating those around her.

Johnson, who is ranked in the Top 5 nationally in the ’28 class by almost every service available, showed a lot of versatility over the course of the tournament playing very effectively inside and out on both ends of the court. When AIA decided to go small, Johnson utilized her 6′ frame to grab offensive rebounds and quickly lay the ball back up. On a few trips in the half court, Johnson showed some impressive moves on the block and also did a nice job screening for the ball handler and popping for shots from the perimeter. Johnson also made several threes showing that she is a true three level scoring threat. She was a matchup nightmare when opposing posts had to guard her on the perimeter. Johnson’s strength, to go along with her height/wingspan, and her diverse skill set make her one of the very best sophomores in the country and one of the most heavily recruited players in her class for very good reason.

Johnson, the nation’s top point guard in her class, could dominate any game at any time and put up crazy point totals if she wanted to. Instead, she chooses to elevate teammates, and that’s exactly what she did at the Sophomore ID Camp. Her vision, understanding of the game, and work ethic are unmatched. Chloe controls pace, distributes with precision, and embodies leadership. Ranked #1 in Minnesota’s 2028 class, Johnson blends elite skill with humility that will eventually carry her to the WNBA.
