2025 Game One Hoopfest Standouts – Part 3

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Prep Girls Hoops was honored to attend and cover the 2025 Game One Hoopfest hosted by Archbishop Hoban High School on December 13th and 14th. There were a number of key matchups featuring teams throughout Northeast Ohio and players that shined during this two day event. She has elite strength and skill to finish in the paint while also displaying a pure stroke from distance. Jaidah is a very active pressure defender who loves to attack her matchup looking for steals and getting out and attacking in transition. She can play both inside and outside the paint in the halfcourt and is capable of handling the ball and creating for herself off the dribble. Jaidah keeps her head up and facilitates the ball very well in transition, seeing plays before they happen. She is also very capable of pushing the tempo and scoring the ball taking it coast to coast in transition! Jaidah is a paint beast who can not be stopped when she makes up her mind to score the ball! She is an elite finisher in transition either converting at the basket and making midrange runners in the lane. Spade is a solid facilitator and offensive initiator showing she can set up and run the offense for her team. She plays with high energy and a strong motor on both ends of the floor. She uses her height and speed to be a strong pressure defender both on the perimeter and in the post. Figliano is very versatile! She is a capable shooter who demonstrates a phenomenal form from behind the arc and in the midrange. She contributes in many ways towards winning with her impact on both ends. Lapp has great length and size for her position and rebounds the ball very well, keeping her head up and looking to get the ball to her guards in transition. She runs the floor very well looking for early seals and opportunities to score around the basket. Lapp is a elite finisher with either hand in the paint and plays with a very high motor on both ends of the floor! You also have to respect her on the perimeter because she is a knockdown shooter from deep! She is phenomenal at attacking downhill and finishing through contact at the basket. Washburn also displayed her ability to hit the three-pointer when she is open!
