Today, I'll be making a three-hour drive up to Clark County to see an undefeated Neillsville team welcome in an undefeated Owen-Withee group. However, before I head out, I'd like to have a few articles posted about underrated players I've seen so far in the 2025-26 season in games I've attended. There are countless players I've liked in the 26 games I've attended thus far, but let's talk about a few of them before I start my drive up to Central Wisconsin.

Rowan Lasack

The Deerfield wing is a talented multi-sport athlete who could play multiple sports in college if she wanted. However, she is a player who can be a difference maker for a Demons team, who seems to be underrated by most around the state, to make a deep postseason run. Lasack is an athletic 5'11 wing who can defend multiple positions. Lasack has the athleticism to make plays on the defensive end of the floor. I also love how fast she is when her team gets out in transition.

McKinley Becker

The Pardeeville senior is a player who impressed me when I watched her play against Horicon a week and a half ago. Becker shot the ball at a high level and had the confidence to let it fly whenever she had the space to shoot the ball on the perimeter. Becker is a perfect fit alongside the talent the Bulldogs have at their disposal, and her ability to space the floor will open the lane for Hulberg, Wagner, and Hughes to score in the paint. She is a valuable part of what Pardeeville does.

Marciella Rivera

The Pius XI guard is a hard-nosed player who played one of the best games I've seen her play when I watched her play a talented Wisconsin Lutheran team. Rivera is a skilled guard who has the athletic tools to make plays off the dribble or defend on the perimeter. She has confidence in her game that you can feel the second she steps on the floor. I also thought she was a tremendous passer in the game I watched, and I am excited to see how good this Lady Popes team can be this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='888382' first='Eva' last='Denzien']

With Janowski making her season debut a few days ago, Chabot having an excellent start to the season, Petzold starting to find her footing, among all the talent at Pewaukee, [player_tooltip player_id='888382' first='Eva' last='Denzien'] is one of the more impressive players in the game I watched Tuesday, and when I watched the Notre Dame game back. Denzien is a player who can space the floor, attack mismatches off the dribble, rebound, and use her physicality to keep ball handlers in front of her. However, her ability to pass and make quick decisions will lead to numerous open looks for her teammates this season, and help the Pirates continue to be an elite offensive unit.
