Morris did a very effective job running the show for Lanier. She is an excellent ball handler who used her change of pace both on the fastbreak and in the halfcourt. She had some smooth finishes on tough shots at the basket. Morris also shot the ball well from the outside. She was in full command with the ball. She got her teammates into sets on offense and did a good job with time and awareness in the fourth quarter. Morris had a great showing in this game against a veteran Woodstock team with very good guards.

Sanderson started the game on fire knocking down three three pointers in the first ten minutes of the game. She was especially effective shooting the ball from the corners. Sanderson showed good patience and made good decisions with the ball against Lanier's pressure. Sanderson was a very good plus/minus player in this game with 12 points (4 three pointers), 4 rebounds, and three steals and few if any turnovers. She competed hard and showed toughness against a strong, physical Lanier team.

Makenzie showed off her range knocking down three three point shots, including one pull up three in transition. Weaver is a very quick guard who loves to push the pace. She handles the ball well and does a good job finding open teammates. Weaver did a great job passing to the posts where they could score. Her post entry passes were set up well with fakes. Weaver plays extremely hard on the defensive end pressuring the ball and jumping into passing lanes. She helped her team on the boards as well grabbing eight rebounds.

Setchel plays the game with a quiet confidence and calmness that is rare in a player her age. She makes really good decisions with basketball in her hands. She never got sped up or tried to force anything that was not there and just took what the defense gave her. Setchel is a very skilled player who is one of the best shooters in the 2028 class in Georgia. Setchel played hard on defense where did a good job shutting down dribble penetration and hand active hands. When Setchel is assertive on offense she can really score the ball.

Hoban did all of the little things that helped keep Milton in a close game. She effected the game with her effort alone competing hard on every possession. Hoban was scrappy on defense, not afraid of contact, and never gave anything easy up. She has a very good knowledge of the game and made good decisions throughout the game. Hoban showed skill handling the ball and made several very good passes. Her role is not to score on this team, but to do everything else and she did that well.

Pollock showed a lot of skill on the offensive end for North Oconee. She was especially effective leading the fastbreak and getting her team into the offense essentially playing the point forward position. She did a really nice job getting downhill and attacking the basket in transition but also was able to get a bucket in the halfcourt when her team needed it. Her size and shooting ability make Pollock a threat both inside and out.
