[player_tooltip player_id='980297' first='Paris' last='Palacio'], also known as P is a combo guard wearing number 0 for the Lady Tigers at Many High School, has made a remarkable return to the basketball court. After missing some time last year due to a school transfer and an early-season absence, Paris has been a significant presence on the floor. When she plays, she is known for her tenacious defense, effectively "locking down" ball handlers and forcing turnovers. Paris embraces challenges, regardless of position or mismatch, and consistently performs at a high level. Offensively, Paris is a versatile three-level scorer, with much of her impact coming from beyond the arc or driving to the rim. Her ball-handling skills are exceptional; she is adept with both her left and right hands. Recently, she has shown a preference for driving to her left, successfully converting several contested "and-1" plays with that hand. Paris is a highly skilled player to watch, with ample time to further develop her game and refine minor aspects.

[player_tooltip player_id='879850' first='Annie' last='Thweatt'], a center/power forward for the Zwolle High School Mighty Hawks, has truly begun to excel after gaining more experience on the court. Her impressive performance has led to her nomination for Player of the Week by the Shreveport Times. In a recent game I observed, Annie demonstrated exceptional dominance in the paint, scoring with remarkable ease. She showcased her versatility by successfully executing mid-range shots and fadeaways near the rim, concluding the night with an impressive 28 points, 4 blocks, and 3 steals. Annie is undoubtedly a promising prospect with considerable skill. While she is capable of handling the ball when necessary, dedicated practice during the summer to further develop her ball-handling and footwork would undoubtedly elevate her game, making her a formidable challenge for her peers and solidifying her potential as a top player.

[player_tooltip player_id='946175' first='Asia' last='Bell'], a distinguished player for Zachary High School, wears number 3 for the Lady Broncos. She is recognized as one of the top players in the state and within her class. Standing over 6 feet tall, Asia's height significantly contributes to her formidable presence on the court, with her skills and size being considerable advantages. Asia is a versatile three-level scorer, though she particularly excels at driving to the rim and drawing fouls, demonstrating strong finishing abilities. She consistently scores at least 15 points per game, averages approximately 3 to 5 blocks per game, and secures about 7 to 15 rebounds per game. These statistics frequently result in her achieving a double-double in most games. Additionally, Asia is a 2025 state champion. She is a diligent and physically adept player, making her a valuable asset to any team, and any program would be fortunate to have such a skilled individual. Asia is also known as a wonderful and humble teammate, exhibiting great unselfishness and excellent communication both on and off the court.

MJ is an exceptional floor general for her team, demonstrating the ability to advance the ball effectively and maintaining composure under on-ball pressure. She is skilled at passing and setting up her teammates for easy scores. MJ possesses excellent court vision and a high basketball IQ. She is a proficient scorer from all three levels on the court, and even when she doesn't have possession of the ball, she actively moves off-ball to position herself for scoring opportunities or to assist her teammates. MJ is a complete player on both ends of the court, consistently applying the same level of effort on defense. She hustles diligently for loose balls and turnovers, and she applies significant on-ball pressure to opposing ball handlers, denying them space or relief. MJ is a considerable threat and a valuable asset to her team.
