She is a proficient scorer from all three levels on the court, and even when she doesn’t have possession of the ball, she actively moves off-ball to position herself for scoring opportunities or to assist her teammates. MJ is a complete player on both ends of the court, consistently applying the same level of effort on defense. She hustles diligently for loose balls and turnovers, and she applies significant on-ball pressure to opposing ball handlers, denying them space or relief. MJ is a considerable threat and a valuable asset to her team.

Thibodeuax was on fire from the start of the camp and I had to compliment her for her ability to knock down step back three balls with confidence and consistency. She is a savvy ball handler that plays with a ton of poise. She is a special talent and a tough competitor on both sides of the ball. MJ was a top player in the gym in each competition. I want to call her a shooter, but she is also a playmaker, defender and just a fierce competitor. MJ is definitely a player to know on the girls scene.

Mj Thibodeaux really shined during her freshman season. She’s got a fantastic jumper and finishes strong at the rim. Plus, she’s a solid on-ball defender. Her contributions really helped lead Midland to the state tournament!
