I love searching somewhat reputable sites so poking around on Max Preps I filtered the leading scorers in Texas from the 2028 class. Mind you there are some putting up huge numbers I haven't seen but let me mention the ones I have

Johnson showed promise when I caught her in middle school, after all she's a "long and athletic" guard who showed a knack of being able to set the defender up and blow by them in the set yet over the years, her first step has gotten even better, as well as her body control on her finishes, after contact included but her "stop and pop" jumper is a problem for defenders. She's applying "on the ball" pressure baseline to baseline, she's using her quick hands to get steals along with playing the passing lane see evaluations here

Robinson was THAT GIRL when I caught her probably in the 6th grade and you know what, I dropped that coveted #D1Lock on her back then, I ain't been wrong yet. Over the years, I've watched her expand her game see evaluations here and seeing her continue to add more has been a treat, yet guess what, the treat continues as I'll try to catch her tomorrow at the Spring Creek Mansfield Invitational Tournament

Marshall has several things going for her including a "scorers mentality" as she finds ways to not only put the ball into the basket but finds ways to get buckets for her squad and let me start with her court vision and being able to thread the needle in traffic for assists. She's explosive off the dribble to score, she has the pull-up jumper as well as "catch and shoot" plus she brings heat on the defensive end see evaluations here

Smith conttinues to elevate her game and seeing her "on the court" progression has been a treat for me to watch and here's the deal. Yeah, she understood early she could give defenders fits yet what she has done is learned how to think the game to become a more complete player so accelerating in the open court as well as in the set to score is still there, so is her jumper with a hand in her face see evaluations here

Warner grabbed m y attention at last seasons Neville Jones Invitational and solidified what I saw the the PGH Freshman Showcase see evaluations here so as she's turn ing into the Belton Bomber and averaging a tad over 20 mpg I'm looking fore=ward to catching up with her in person as she's next up on the UPDATED PGH RANKINGS
